This issue has become annoying for me for sooo long time.. at first i couldn't detect the problem and what is causing it.

Um..yeah, i guess i should tell what's the problem.
Whenever i enable AERO theme and open Chrome
The chrome starts lagging (not being smooth like normally is)
after some time, and it stops and get back to normal after
i minimize and maximize it again, than it stops and function normally.
but after some time it lags again and i minimize and
maximize AGAIN...and so on and so on... it became annoying...
in fact it's happening again and i LIKE Aero theme...

So the problem happens as i noticed, while aero is on, but there are no chrome problems when classic theme is on...

Please give me suggestions :/ my head hurts....

Because i love chrome and Aero theme, but i dont know what's causing this
Its not browser (i think it's not) problem is in theme, because, as i said, when i set to classic its normal, when i use aero problems emerge..its nothing special or alarming, just annoying ANNOYING! -_-

Reinstall chrome then.
Otherwise update windows if you haven't done so.
If it still isn't fixable, reinstall windows.

Or, just switch browsers.

Given the fact that Firefox also never fixed it's memory leak bugs....

Got to love Opera.

And yep, without specs of your pc, it's hard to tell what's the problem.

Maybe its just a case of not enough ram or not enough power under the hood to run both

But does that mean that my problem would be constant...because it happens at random.

And about my PC specs...

CPU: Intel Pentium G620 dual cores @2.60GHz
RAM: Kingston 4GB Hyper X @1333 MHz DDR3
VGA: Saphire Radeon HD6770 1GB GDDR5
....

Oh yeah your specs are more than adequate, so yeah I would put it down to drivers, that's the only thing I can think of it being, that or something hardware wise is starting to fail but that still wouldn't put it exclusively with chrome. Its quite perplexing really

Hm..strange...when i open ATI catalyst "automaticly check for updates" is checked and it's saying "AMD catalyst 11.8, last update 22.10.2013." so judging by that, my graphics driver is UP to date... don't know about motherboard drivers though....

Oh and my PC is relatively new..about a year and a half

And yeah, its Chrome exclusive problem

Edit: It came into my mind...maybe NEW drivers are making problems...could it be?

Have you ever been beaten by a wet spaghetti noodle by your girlfriend because she has a twin sister, and you got confused and fucked her dad?

I had a girlfriend who had a twin sister and they would mess with me constantly.... Until one chipped a tooth then finally I could tell them apart.... Lol

They would have the same hair style the same clothes everything... Really messed with my head lol

@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i don't think nvidia wants to get in the x64 cpu market anyways

you've seen how much intel is struggling getting into the gpu market

and nvidia is already doing ARM

i don't think they want to take more focus away from their gpus

Yeah I think Nvidia s future lays in AI GPU acceleration stuff if they can get that going it's going to be super interesting in the long term

  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@Psionic Roshambo AI assisted game creation is kinda already here, there was recently that AI that can turn any 2D image into a fully modeled 3D object, it's not perfect, but it's a starting point, beats starting from zero

before that there was one to generate a fully modeled scene from a 2D image

but most recently, there was one that actually generates a working unity scene with terrain and textures already set up that you can import right into unity, that's a huge time saver right there
