It's just too much extra work to do all that crap when I don't need the functionality.
For what it's worth, I install Bootmii boot2 on every Wii I hack. Just not my own.

It's annoying to have Bootmii boot2 automatically pop up when e.g. I just installed the HBC and Priiloader, and I need to install other things like cIOS. I'll hold RESET at boot up to use Priiloader as a shortcut to the HBC, but then Bootmii will pop up, and you have the use the damn power and reset buttons if you want to go to the HBC from there. Bootmii plz.
That's not how it works. When was the last time you used BootMii as boot2? Holding down RESET doesn't change what is loaded by BootMii.

You have all these ideas about how it makes things inconvenient for you, but none of them are true. BootMii doesn't load the GUI if BOOTDELAY is set to 0, holding RESET doesn't make BootMii come up, the HackMii installer doesn't regenerate the bootmii files unless you specifically tell it to, the delay caused by loading BootMii is like milliseconds, and the time required to install BootMii is like 10 seconds max.

As a user with a wii capable of Bootmii@Boot2 i can say its very useful when your wiimotes have no charge left and you want to play a GC game,
And waiting 3 seconds at start doesn't hurt at all.

It's not even 3 seconds. The added boot time from BootMii is negligible compared to Priiloader. With Priiloader it takes several seconds extra, because it has to load the modified system menu binary, which executes Priiloader, which then has to load the configuration to determine that it should boot SM, as well as loading the hacks, and then finally SM is booted. BootMii has to take most of those steps too, but as it does so on a much lower level, it can execute things much faster.

It depends on your settings and if you have the bootmii folder. If there is no bootmii folder, there is no noticeable delay.
I leaved 3 seconds to be able of press something in bootmii screen and prevent autoboot, i know he can boot instantly, but there's no utility for me. :P

Read again. Holding Reset makes PRIILOADER come up, but Bootmii interferes with that.

I find it much more convenient to use GC controllers to start and play games (Priiloader) than it is to use the Power and Reset buttons (Bootmii).

No it doesn't. Stop saying stupid things. I've done it literally hundreds of times for testing homebrew stuff.

You could always use the GC controller for BootMii. It's not like you have to access it often anyway.

I'm starting to suspect that you've never actually used bootmii as boot2.

Of course I have, it's just been a year or so.

Bootmii doesn't have nearly as much functionality as Priiloader, and the functionality it does provide is not worth affecting my precious boot-up process to me.
That's all I'm saying.

Oh, because recovering your wii from a full brick is nothing,
Running HBC Even before wii menu to easy brick revovery is useless.

Why should anyone need full brick recovery when there's virtually nothing you can do to full brick? Unless you're trying to brick, that is.

He's good when you want to try something dangerous,
or if the user is really stupid at point of uninstalling a IOS or downgrading wii.

If you're trying something so dangerous Priiloader can't help you, you should really read up on what you're doing so that it's not so dangerous. Even region-changing and downgrading aren't that dangerous.

If a user is stupid enough to downgrade or uninstall needed IOS files, they will be too stupid to make a NAND backup beforehand.

Downgrading or updating removes Priiloader.

I was just pointing out that there are lots of situations where Priiloader can't help you. It's not meant to be a recovery app, that's just a side-effect.

Edit: Read this:

It's about Preloader, but everything in that post still applies to Priiloader.
