Hey, I already know how to search for cheats, and enable them. But let's say I wanted to activate one via button, say the L trigger. What would the offset for that be? Like, in nds codes, to activate a cheat with the L trigger, you type: 94000130 FDFF0000 at the beginning of the cheat. I'm wanting to know what the L trigger would be for the PSP, since TempAR is a completely different format of cheats...

If anyone knows anything, please don't hesitate to help. :D

0x09F00000 and above is what you are looking for. And look at http://raing3.gshi.org/psp-utilities/page/PSP/CodeTypes for the button activator codes.

Thanks, so would it look like this? 0x09F00000 0x10000100 (that last part is the L button activator)
Also, I converted a cwcheat format code that uses the L trigger as an activator, and it came out looking like this: 0x0880000 0x1000010. Could that work, too?

Edit: The code I'm looking to make work is for MLB 2K12, and I wanted a No Strikes and No Outs activator, here's what I got for strikes, and yes it works, but I don't want it to always be active: 0x08D93E54 0x00000000 <<< That's in TempAR format, so i'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I put the activator at the top of the code, but it's still not working as I planned, it still stays on constantly...

Any help would be nice :D

The activator code should be 0x00000100 not 0x10000100 (as per your post) for the left trigger. I am not really sure myself as I just used my google-fu powers to try and help you in the first place. I used the cwcheat database editor before to add/alter/convert codes to my liking and from what I remember, you can use it to make joker codes.

I apologize for bumping this month old topic. I've tried, over and over, to get the TempAR activator code to work, but still, the code is ALWAYS on. I would like a step by step guide on where to place the activator, because I have a feeling it's not set up right. Here's the code for No Strikes that I created: 0x08D93E54 0x00000000

Now, my question is: Would the button activator for the L Trigger go above the code I made, below it, or somewhere in between?

Thanks for any help!

I believe the joker code goes first.
Okay, so should it look like this:
0x08D93E54 0x00000000 <<< Joker Code (I think)
0X94000130 0xFDFF0000 <<< Button Activator

Is that in the correct order you think? Or am I confused on what the joker code is? Thanks for your help.

Edit: NVM, I screwed that up, I'm just going to give up on this one :/

Button Activator = Joker Code
-----------------------------------------

If "hijack PSPAR buttons" is on:
0xD0000000 0x10000100
0x08d93e54 0x00000000

-----------------------------------------

If "hijack PSPAR buttons" is on:

0x09F00000 0x00000100
0x08d93e54 0x00000000

Hey, SuzieJoeBob. Jastolze said he couldn't get the code to turn off. If he got the code right at least once, does he have to use loop and / or terminate codes 0xc/0xd ? Just curious (for myself) as I have been reading up on action replay code types.

Hey, do the button activators work for PS1 games, too via tempar lite? Or does it need to be in a different format as well?

Okay, so I tried placing the Button activator both before the code and after, yet it still stays on. Should I try using another activator? I would really like to figure out how to do this.

Also, sorry for bumping this thread...
