Hacking Nintendont - Looking for a logo

People keep including the Wii U in these pictures yet Nintendont is for both Wii U and Wii, so this doesn't really make sense.
I get that it's a huge focus on Wii U, but shouldn't the logo NOT contain official promotional photos of the Wii U? I see why people would jump to the editing of the nintendo logo with the added "nt" but that's kind of lazy too, to be honest (especially considering the "nt" is already part of Nintendo, and Nintendont is just a copy/paste away.)

I guess all i'm saying is that maybe people could try a little harder to be original? I dunno. Not trying to offend anybody who has already posted, just trying to raise the bar to a certain degree.

The name implies it's doing something that Nintendo didn't do but on the original Wii, Nintendid so the including the console that inspired the name seems reasonable to me.

Makes sense, sure, but it would be a bit odd to have Nintendont running on regular wii showing a Wii U in the logo. At least, I think it would be. Makes more sense to have a gamecube in the logo, if anything.

Guys, you can't modify pictures of Nintendo's logo or of a Wii/GC/Wii U. That's copyrighted material.

alright, it was still just in crappy paint concept drawing stages anyhow but since it's not legally usable I'll post my "U breaking off of Nintendo" concept as-is.

even if it does end up legal and someone else wants to run with it (be my guest) it still needs the U hanging at a different angle at least. (It's also too big and maybe having some letters start to fall as well would be good ... )

EDIT : I was also thinking of slapping a GC logo over the O ... but that would just make it worse.

Those images are interesting. The GCN was originally going to actually have a little see through window to the spinning disc on it just like that. Cool idea there. Edit; I bet that'd make a cool forwarder channel banner actually, if someone took the time to animate it.

Edit 2: to add about the Font used ..I used a free Font named GAMECUBEN, made by Bleutuna. It's not "exactly" the same as Nintendo's one, and it's free to use, so, no copyright problems there.

In the end, if you think that a correction in the images should be made, or you need other sizes/configurations, feel free to ask.

Simple sleek and smooth, nothing flashy. probably could have more potential but I'm tired. if this is still up later I may create a couple more. Completely custom, no worries about copyright issues. and 640 by 480 as asked.

If you wanna get technical, this entire thread is illegal. After all, Sega pretty much came up with Nintendont. Not sure if they copyrighted the phrase (or Blast Processing) but if taken to court over it im sure they would win.
