I was wondering on ebay, since I wanted to buy a Wii U Pro Controller, and for the fist time I found a fake one..
ex.: W II U Pro Controler

I almost bought this one, since I was not putting much attention in the pics ( and cause I hadn't seen a fake of this controller before.. only 3rd parties, that don't even try to resemble that much to the Nintendo made one..)

Has anyone bought one of this before, and is it worth it?
...or are those things just as crappy as that Retro Controller Pro thingy?
They are actually pretty awesome ....but only visually speaking, obviously..

Function wise, I don't think it would link in different ways to the PC compared to a original one, but who knows.. Since that's a big reason for me to have this controller, I'm not risking a buy yet..
It's half the price of a original, but I don't know the drawbacks ..

If someone has some opinions about it, fell free to share..

Odd observation here, that faux-famicom pad has the concave X/Y buttons of the American SNES pad, but the colours of the JP/EU pad which did not have concave X/Y buttons.

Yup all the models (different color schemes) of that controller are the same ..concave X/Y buttons and convex B/A buttons ...probably cause they were super lazy about the build of them..

But about the Fake Wii U controller, could it communicate differently to the PC? (worst signal ...or the ability to be recognized by usb? )
Would like to know about the build quality also...

there's a very simple way to tell:

if it's from hong kong = probably fake!

also is this even news?

Yup, but there was no fake WiiU pro controller available (in ebay, at least) until last week, as far as I know..

I had the intention to connect it to the pc using this (that doesn't support real analogs) or this (not released yet, but seems to support it)..
don't know how worth it would be, using this controller, or if it would work...

and yeah, thought about it potencially being in the wrong forum the moment I pressed to publish thread... ..If some mod decide to move it to the Wii U area I would not mind

There's nothing physically wrong with that Retro controller.

The advertisement just lied about it being a Pro Controller. It's actually a Wii Remote and Classic Controller molded into one.

There's exactly where its problems are actually.

Just watch some honest reviews and you'll know what I mean. Build quality is not good, d-pad is crap, changing from wiimote to classic controller doesn't always work, controller gets completely down sometimes, and you need to re-sync it (some even say that the re-sync doesn't makes it come back to life sometimes..), 1 and 2 buttons are weirdly mapped (makes some games too uncomfortable to play, like NSMBW), and so on..

I have the controller man. It feels very nicely made, it doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart like other third party controllers. Switching from Wiimote to Classic has never been an issue for me. And the only reason the 1 and 2 buttons are mapped weird is because it's mostly designed for Classic Controller use, in which case there are no maping issues at all. I use it all the time to play my Wii VC and I think it's the perfect controller for VC. I have had to re-sync it once but other than that, no problems.

Since I watched and read a lot of reviews, seems like you got lucky with your controller, or they are doing a new batch that is less problematic (but it's unlikely). ..ah, and some reviews also talked about the buttons not felling good..

I don't have the controller though, so I appreciate your direct opinion.. but since it goes against most opinions that I found around the web, I would wait a second opinion about it before buying it or something (no offense)

I bought one from eachgame for like 23 dollars. It came with the box and it looks exactly like the Wii U pro controller. It works great too. I have yet to use a real Wii U pro controller but I assume it's very similar.

You guys are dumbasses! It's not fake! They sell them at Gamestop! They are Limited Edition, and they even have the Nintendo Seal of Approval on them! Retards.... -_-

Just check the controler box that alone proves that its a fake...
And for a your 1st post here i would say that you need to learn how to be polite.
