Not really magic, what the Vita needs is a constant flow of high profile games and a price drop never hurt anything.
Maybe down the road things will pick up.

If Vita used normal SD cards, i would of bought one by now.
^ That? Oh thats not my opinion. Thats the opinion of everyone who was ever on the fence about buying one.
That would be awesome, I would actually be able to keep more than 3 of my ps plus games on my memory card I wonder if someone is ever gonna figure out how to make a micro sd adapter for the vita but I'm guessing that would be way to complicated

Interesting. Let's see:
Apples and oranges. Some people like portable consoles, others like home consoles, even others like both. Completely different products for completely different audiences.
Except the PS4 isn't a handheld which you seemed to have been implying all along. The upcoming PS4 in no way hampers the PSVita's chances because it's not in the same sector of the industry.
What good would total support give you if the PSVita isn't compatible with the PSEye or other necessary accessories for certain games? You wouldn't be able to play them so why support them, for bragging rights or just to receive complaints that they're not working? Explain.
The games that are playable on the PSVita's control scheme will be playable on it, that's what matters. As for mapping L2/R2/L3/R3 - left side of the touchpad/right side of the touchpad/left side of the touch screen/right side of the touch screen - done.
Except you don't always have that option, do you? Sometimes you just want to stay in bed and play your favourite games without going downstairs and Remote Play gives you that option - what's not to like?
I haven't seen any Cross-Buy games that cost anywhere near $80, they're practically the same price a normal game would be.
Show me. Burden of proof and whatnot.
So in other words, the tiny itsy bitsy UK bought as much as nearly a half of total CoD MW3 US sales? You're proving yourself wrong here. On the side note, there's also the rest of Europe to consider outside of the UK, y'know.
Japan does. Europe not so much. You said only Americans play FPS games, which you yourself just disproved.
You've just said that Call of Duty MW3 sold 9.5 million in the U.S.A, 4 million in the UK and 140 thousand in Japan which equals 13.65 million copies in the countries we're talking about while Monster Hunter Freedom 3 (which I think you got wrong since Monster Hunter Portable 3rd was never officially localized, there's only Freedom 1, 2 and Unite but I'll roll with this for the sake of making a point) sold 440 thousand in the US. 420 thousand in the UK and 4 million in Japan, totalling at 4,86 million copies. According to your logic, you're the one who's bad at maths - Sony should be clinging to Call of Duty like clingfoil and totally ignore Monster Hunter. ;O;

$300 for the 3G Vita (plus the required AT&T data contract and all those lovely overagesIf your local game store sells PSVita's for $399, I think they may be trying to scam you.![]()
) + $100 for a memory card? Hell yea, it's too much money.Considering a handheld game almost never gets the same level of detail and scope as a home console game, Yes it does. Game Freak's complete unwillingness to make a fully fledged console Pokemon game again should be enough to tell you how epically lazy they are.Does the fact that it's a handheld game make it any worse than a home console game? That, and $50 seems a bit much, all of the PSVita games I own were about $30, not to mention that I get most of my games from PSPlus.
That's even worse, as that's where most of the collusion and scalper markups happen, because they can get away with it. How else do you explain or get away with charging $200 for a broadband adapter for the Dreamcast?! And that peripheral only cost $30 when it was new....buy online?
About the one thing in your post we can both agree on.Tastes in video games are subjective.

Probably because most people had higher expectations for the WiiU than they did for the Vita. I know I did.The optimism for the Vita's situation in contrast with all the pessimism for the Wii U's is rather amusing considering they're both in the same boat sales-wise.

No...No it wasn't.There ain't no "Saving" the PS Vita.....it was Dead on Arrival it seems 0_O

We need more free roam games and first person shooters? WTF? This kid is a turd; I like games that have an incredibly understandable story while still allowing flexible play within the story. And exclusives are not good ideas: why should someone have to pay $400 for a console just to play one game? They already have a game system that they'd like to get as many games as possible for. I don't want to own 3 consoles just to play one exclusive on each of them.

A 3G Vita is still $300 new. Factor in the requisite memory card ($100 for a 32GB) and PS Plus if you don't already have a subscription (another $50/yr); you're already paying more for the Vita than you would for a PS3 with way more space and functionality.Well the vita isnt $400, and who said only thing about ONE exclusive, BTW kingdom hearts fans usually end up buying consoles just to play kingdom hearts (like me)
Hey guys, I just came across this video:
And, I believe this guy's pretty right, but I gotta say, it's not doing too bad right now compared to the wii u
WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

And for me, the only retail game for Vita I am aware of and would want to play is its iteration of Katamari. Everything else I could already play on another console (Sony, Microsoft... heck, even PC).
It was a similar story for me with the PSP; really, about the only thing that was initially a killer app for me to finally go get a PSP was the fact that there was a lot of excellent homebrew... which the Vita still lacks. And this was before how Sony recently decided to give me the screwjob.
