Downloading the Demo now. Really excited for this!

edit:
So after playing through the demo on normal difficulty (as there was no hard mode there) I can safely form an impression of the game.

it is solid fun, very well made and incredubly colorful which is something I like very much. I found the controls to be a bit too complex for what it was as the gamepad has a touch screen that is used very sparsely. you draw shapes with the right analog stick and i cant help but think that it would be so much better if you could use the touch screen for this.
other than that, the gamepad use was fantastic and very creative. the demo is a whole mission long, features a great deal of action and puzzle and i had a blast playing it. the50 bucks pricepoint of the full game is also VERY encouraging.

All in all from what I played i want to recommend the game! it is VERY japanese but also very solid. Worht the price of admission from what i saw in the demo :)

You can, you can use either or.

just tried the demo not a bad game the controls aren't too bad they do take some getting used to though. but from what I've seen so far all you do is just beat up robots and nothing really else. I'd prob get bored of this quickly.

Yep that's what I was trying to say last time. Just beating up robots smashing the buttons and wiggling the right control stick....

I wouldn't quote call it a button masher, while there is a lot of quick attacking required, those tank things would kill you if you went in without any course of action; for instance, the jello defense needs to be used with decent timing and analysis of the enemies' attack patterns and timing.

It was a bit hard to learn since there was no tutorial but... most people seem to be forgetting that there is a built in manual for every game on this console. Hell, even the in-game help menu had info on camera controls.

I've wanted this from day one and want it even more now! My only annoyance is lack of wii/chuck support, but... I suppose something had to eventually force me to buy a set of pro controllers for multi. (Don't own any classic controllers)

Two words: Fuck yeah!!.
This game is pretty darn good, even better than i expected. have the good old platinum feel, but the control is a little bit hard to learn but once you learn them it become a really fast paced action game. I really enjoyed the demo and can't wait a month to play the full version

The demo is great. You have to get used to the controls, but when you are the controls are very good and you can do everything without problems and you have full control.
I like that the game is different to any other game. it`s really something new.
The graphics are great. I love the style. I think that this kind of graphic can´t really look better on a more powerful consol.
