Hacking Gateway 3DS - First 3DS Flashcart

what gives me hope (about updates so far that is) is that, if supercard can get past them quickly, then, surely it is possible for gateway to do it too.
of course the 'next' 3ds update could block all flashcards finally, but, still...

if only supercard and gateway would team up, making one really nice card, for $90, whatever, that can play ds roms, dsi enhanced roms, and 3ds roms.

We don't know that, though. Obviously, what the two cards do is completely different, partly because Gateway can't do DS mode. We have no knowledge of how Gateway works, though. It could just be a stripped cartridge that has an SD slot stuck onto it with a piece of gum and twine.

More likely scenario: Gateway will release, Supercard and other companies will copy the living daylights out of it, improve upon it, and sell it for more (the first one with multi-rom capabilities and the like) and then for less (once the aforementioned card isn't the only one). What is Gateway gonna do, sue?

1. Gateway owner walks into a courtroom. "They stole our piracy device! Get them!" Gateway owner gets handcuffed.

we already know how Crown3DS works...so yeah. just look up all the Crown3DS threads on here.

i was biased after seing "CoD Ghost BETA Acess 100% not fake" and "steam haxorz wallet hack 10000000% legit february 2013" and tons of other scams on my youtube frontpage constantly the past 2 weeks, then i saw WiiUBricker's image and got mad.

Oh, very happy sorry. We never make a Gateway 3DS. It was scam to get money from resellers for orders. This is why we not allow preorders from customers, so customers will not have to get scammed too also. Now we have reseller money and no longer need to support fake Gateway 3DS.

So, Will Gateway 3DS need to be updated to run 3DS Roms that require a higher firmware? Like Pokemon X/Y? Or is the update not attached to the Rom/ISO itself? I apologize if this has been answered before.

I think this is very real and will definitely be released.

However, all the talk from them about it being upgradeable, work with future firmwares, etc. etc. is most likely bull, just to give potential purchasers a little bit of false hope. "No, this will not work with future firmwares" isn't a great selling point...
