This game has so many arbitrary rules... It really just makes me want to play a Harvest Moon or Rune Factory game.

Raiding the island for beetles. Gave up on sharks, the spawn rate was too low. Simple solution of chasing away all the crappy bugs I don't want, do a lap of the island and lo and behold, new bugs, usually rarer ones. Took 45 minutes or so but one basket netted me over 300,000 Bells. One Dream Suite, please. Then I went out again and paid off my mortgage from a single trip thanks to a lucky haul of several golden stags.

Got two pieces of legit art today as well, so I can finally get the second floor unlocked. Got one from Redd (and I knew it as legit because it's near identical to the fake one he sold me last time, the thieving ass hole), and then the drum playing cat called, imaginatively, 'Katt' gave me another one. Just waiting for him to look like he's pondering now.

How long does Kicks take to build? They've been at it since Saturday evening. What gives?

How much more closer for a perfect town rating?

"Well, they're certainly giving it their all! The difficult challenge is the reason town building is so worth it!" I have to be close I suspect? She wants me to put more greenery...which all I need to do is go to the island for plants

I'll sell my gold nugget if anyone wants it, I definitely don't have use for it
