Hacking Baten Kaitos save issue - DM 2.10

[Generation 16]

I'm having an issue saving with Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean. Whenever I try to save, and then go to load (or save again) the file I just saved is corrupted. This is with a memory card, I tried it with NMM and it just hangs.
Is there anything I can do to fix this? I already researched a bit, and couldn't find anything.

Seems you gotta play it from disc with RVL-mios-v10.wad.

Which might not be possible with a wii that cant play burned games.

(has there been a update to DM?)

Says the European version works without NNN. (Only disc 1 was tested.)
