Maybe AFTER you've bought one or more.
But on Ebay, that's on the seller, not the buyer.
I havent had any problems.
Been buying em from there all year long bro.

$12.50, free ship, a steal.

Well, all I know is that they are inexpensive, lightening fast, have very good homebrew support, are reliable and just plain kick ass.

The quality of "the team" and or the contents of the card are none of the user's real concern, as long as they do what they were purchased to do, and that's run a shite load of games that would otherwise never be experienced without going near bankrupt.

Kinda like cars.
The common user doesn't really care what makes it work, what kind of guys the team who made it are, as long as the damn thing works well, gets them from point A to point B and is affordable and reliable.

Besides, it's a $12-$20 toy, not a college tuition investment.

20 is over priced

Yeah, I don't like buying from those places.
You have to use a credit card?

I would much rather have someone shut down my paypal account than my bank account.

That's like a death sentence.

You mean they're a flash cart? :P
http://gbatemp.net/t290097-which-flash-cart-should-i-get

The chart used to be bigger with entries like the Ak2i, M3i Zero, DSonei, EZ-Flash Vi, iEvolution, etc... but those carts stopped getting updates/support, so they were dropped off the list. Updates not only mean the ability to play new games, but also the ability to work at all on a DSi/3DS (which have anti-flashcart updates themselves). The list is so small nowadays because the DS is dead, so most of the good teams have simply discontinued their products.

As far as all the fakes and clones... these are Chinese aftermarket goods, so there's a lot more bad-quality products out there than good ones. Especially when it comes to any cart with "R4" in the name, 99% of those are fakes or knockoffs because the original R4 team only made "R4". Any "R4i", "R4 SDHC", or anything else like that was not made by them (and a large majority of them are badly-supported carts). These carts will often give two or three updates, then drop off the face of the planet.

While there are some flash carts that actually try their best to give support and updates (you'll notice an R4-named cart IS in the list), the majority out there will drop support quickly in order to get you to buy a second cart, then a third, then a fourth...

Check out those threads, people bought carts from teams that didn't give support, and so were left with carts that wouldn't play new games, or even work at all on their DSi/3DS. This is why it's so important to pick a product from a site/team that actually attempts to give more than one or two updates, and unfortunately that list has shrunk as teams simply stopped and left.

Besides, it's a $12-$20 toy, not a college tuition investment.
What the fuck do you think other flash carts cost, $75 or something? XD

3/4ths of the carts on the list are below $15 at Chinese import shops. I guess actually reading the info presented to you shouldn't be expected, what with confirmation bias, but oh well.

May be there is a reason why there are _fricking flux capacitors_ in the card. But bothering to read must not be worth it.

Trevor if you spend roughly $14 to get one from a reliable team that will prevent you from needing to buy a new one the next time a 3ds update is released because your shitty team has dropped support for their shitty card. "buy it good, buy it right, buy it once" as my old man says.

If you're going to buy shit, then good on ya. But don't try to mislead other people who are seeking knowledge in areas that they otherwise are unknowing, by telling them that the cheapest shit they can find will be good forever. Even the recommended carts have needed new revisions to work with the 3ds past some updates, requiring more money spent. However, the supercard dstwo, the most expensive one on there, has not once. I'm glad to say I own two and have never had a problem with either, and they were well worth the $40, which is what a single ds game used to cost.

Dude, it WILL last forever if people don't update their system firmwares.
90% of the reason Nintendo even releases newer updates is to make life a living hell for people that are using these products.
It's common sense, don't update your system and it won't stop working evertime Nintendo tries to pull the plug on your fun times.

Tell me i'm wrong, that it's worth trading a couple of minor "updates" (usually very minimal changes) for your DS than continue getting multimedia support, homebrew, with all the benefits that come with all of that, in the end getting the most out of your DS system.

And hey, i'm not telling anyone to go buy anything, i'm just providing options.

3D video playing, 3D video recording, access to the eShop, folder support, system transfer function, the internet browser itself...

To each his own.

You guys get to post your ads and comments for stuff, so i will too.

It's only fair that people get to hear more sides than 1 and get as many options into these things.

But yknow what, you win.

This back and forth arguing is a waste of effort.
In so much argument, nobody wins.
We're supposed to be a team.
Now you guys made me cry...

I'm going to go play my DSi now and try and forget about all of this... 3-) haha
