by "too new" what do you mean? Some Wii games like New Super Mario Bros and Monster Hunter have 3DS versions that are exactly similar to the Wii versions and could be ported with less graphic quality. Based on how OoT:3D looked like on the 3DS, Nintendo could easily port N64 classics. I think GC games are too new to start making ports, at least on the 3DS that is.

Hemm.........Sorry, but if they can successfully port such a brilliant Wii games as Donkey Kong Country returns, what would stop them from porting GC classics ?It's nearly impossible to try to make GC ports on a 3DS since the 3DS can't make the graphical quality of a Gamecube. They can make GC ports on the WiiU like with Windwaker.
Id like to see wii sequels rather than remakes on the 3DS, Super Mario Galaxy 3D please..
Well if they made a Galaxy 2 for the Wii, theres a pretty good chance there will be a Super Mario Land 2I'm afraid the 3DS already has it's 3D Mario. Nintendo haven't made two different 3D Mario's for a single console yet, so I doubt they'd start now.

Meh, he says that there 'wasnt much left over' that they could use for a sequel, but i think there is actually alot they could put into the game, Yoshi, new/old power-ups (Cape, Ice power, Kuribo Shoe, Squirrel Suit), Multiplayer, minigames, Create a stage, Etc..
Remember we are talking about porting, not emulating, those are two very different things.
I'd love to see the Metroid Prime trilogy in 3D, or the Super Mario Galaxy games !
Super Mario Galaxy on the 3DS is actually not that unlikely. It suits the 3D perfectly so it makes sense to bring the series to the 3DS.rofl liek, nintedu is porteing da skyward sowrd and aliek mariuo galaksy!
Or how about Metroid fusion remake on 3DS (enough dreaming)

Porting is loads different. Porting basically means that you're completely reworking the game (sometimes from scratch, as a remake) to work on the system in question. Emulating just means you're playing a ROM from the original system with an emulator, and of course, no way the 3DS is powerful enough to emulate the GameCube. the 3DS would have to be multiple times more powerful than the GameCube (4 to 6 times, depending on who you ask) to properly emulate it.That was always been a mistery to me.. how is porting different from emulating?
i always thought that ported games are emulated on other consoles and PC's![]()
Yeah, metroid prime 3D, you hit the bullseyethe motivation i mede this threat is because i was thinking about Metroid from GC and Wii
i, PERSONALLY would love to see ported Metroid other M (now don't jump on me please because of that..YES, i am one of those people who like other M)
