Hacking Need opinion on upgrading

hey guys I'm on REBUG 3.55 and I was wondering what the pros and cons are for upgrading to 4.30 REBUG. I've been out of the ps3 hacking scene for awhile but I have gathered some info. Something about my current pkg's/eboots won't work with 4.30

You do not need to resign most games. You also get whatever changes were made from 3.55 to 4.30.

well I just upgraded and a lot of my homebrew eboot's won't work like openps3ftp, cheats pkg, etc etc any way to fix that?

This is what I did. I haven't wrapped my head around signing 3.55CFW apps and pkgs to run on 4.30CFW, so I simply Googled the same apps but for 4.30. Place the .pkgs on a USB drive and go to "install .pkg" and run. The PS3 will tell you that it already exists and ask you if you want to run anyway. I just clicked "yes" and everything worked fine. I tried this on blackb0x, FBANext, and older gen concole emulators as well.
