This is what Nintendo's FaceBook has posted a few hours

[We're not sure Mario understands the concept of springing forward]

I personally think it is a Wii U game, cause 3DS now hat a lot of Mario's game. What do you think it will be? A new Mario Galaxy Game, a remake?? it would be amazing a Mario World remake or secuel for Wii U!! Will be that a new power for Mario??

Remaking Mario Galaxy 1 or 2 will be pretty dumb.
Ever heard of New Play Control? Games from the GameCube rereleased on Wii. Fast-forward a generation, have Nintendo changed at all?

Mario Galaxy HD? The console is in trouble so they're trying to bail it out with stuff they know will sell. Brand new games take longer to make, as opposed to games that already have high resolution textures. Basically just crank up the visuals, stick a map on the GamePad and you're done.

In the US at least, Daylight Saving Time starts at 2AM Sunday morning; generally it's referred to as 'spring'ing forward an hour, and when it ends late in the year, 'fall'ing back an hour (up until more recent changes it started in early spring and ended about a month into fall; nowadays it's a few weeks before spring and about halfway through fall). It's a bad pun, nothing more.

Even if it takes longer to make, I think Galaxy 3 will sell more games and systems than a HD remake of Galaxy 1 & 2.

Yes, just like a brand new Zelda will take longer than Wind Waker HD... guess which we're seeing on the console first.
But Wind Waker is from two console generations ago so there's a nostalgia factor associated with it. I think there's a higher chance of people buying a Wii U to play Wind Waker HD than Galaxy HD.

Don't get me wrong, I hope it will be a new 3D Mario game. My point was it's nothing new for Nintendo to re-release a game from the previous generation for the current generation. After all, that's probably the main reason Wii games aren't rendered in 1080p on the Wii U (they want to keep their options open).
