I'm not sure if this goes here, but yeah. My friends dad dropped his DS and broke the power switch. He gave it to me, as he doesn't want it. I have had many DS's in the past, but have never had to repair one. When I slide the switch, it seems as if there is no spring. The DS will charge, but as I can't turn it on, I don't know if it works. Is there any way to cheaply fix the power switch. It is much too old for warranty. I would prefer to not have to open it up, but if I must I will. If it matters the little slider piece is still there on the outside of the DS. I read somewhere about unfolding a paper clip and sticking that in the DS, but I can't find that article again. Even if I could, The slider thing protects the DS's insides. I would really appreciate help. I am not very good at soldering, so I would prefer not to.
