As the error message says, that directory has been corrupted for some reason. While it looks like you are deleting the file, it reappears when you refresh. Here's an experiment for you. Try making a new folder on your desktop and copying all of those files into it and see if you get an error.

Try pressing Shift+Delete on the highlighted file(s), it pretty much permanently deletes the file.
nope nope nope nope nope nope.
That's not like you at all. You're usually so mild-mannered and easy going.
I dont care! First, wont let me delete the folder in camtasia, second I cant install, update, or uninstall for MSE, third same thing for JAVA. And now this. Do I look like mild manner and easy going? No I am not! I am ****ing pissed off for my computer system turn to ****ing chaos system! *groan* Guess I have to format my system. Everything I have will go lose. usually, when a file doesnt want to be deleted, i try a program called "Unlocker".

that usually gets rid of things.

however, with all the problems you write about, you just might have to start over with a clean installation of windows.

As for your actual problem try running a checkdisk on your drive. Go to My Computer. Right click on your C: drive select "Properties" then click on the "Tools" tab. There click the "Check" button under Error Checking. In the dialog box that appears make sure to check the box that basically says "Scan for and FIX file system errors". You'll have to reboot to run the scan (it has to be done before Windows boots up) but if there are errors on your disk it should flag them up and try to save the data elsewhere.
Edit: Follow Foxi4's instructions. They're a LOT easier to follow.

I bet a $100 that this is connected with your previous problem. You have some serious system-related issues, maybe even hardware issues.

  1. Start with CCleaner, remove all unnecessary files using its scanner, then scan the registery to fix errors.
  2. Start with the Command Prompt, type in chkdsk /f - this will begin a surface scan of the HDD and repair any errors it may encounter. The "/f" parameter means "force" - it will make the system lock any access to the HDD outside of the surface scan, and if that's impossible, it will perform the scan during the next boot (you will likely have to reboot to scan the System Partition). If you have several partitions on one disk, make sure to scan them all (chkdsk X: /f, where X is the partition letter).
  3. Once you're done with that, enter the Command Prompt once more and perform a System Files scan using sfc /scannow. It will check for System integrity and correct any errors it encounters if possible. If the log shows that there are errors which the tool could not correct, it's worth to find that Windows installation disc that's gathering dust somewhere in a dark corner or obtain an ISO of it, corresponding to your version of the system and perform a System Repair. System Repair will only be available if the languages of the disc/ISO and the System match, keep that in mind.
  4. To improve general I/O, use defragmesoftware to keep files whole rather than in chunks - I recommend Priform's Defraggler or Auslogic's Disk Defrag - they're both free solution.
  5. Once System Performance is "tops", perform and Anti-Viral and Anti-Malware scan.
  6. Once those are done, perform all the steps one more time. Why? Because certain viruses may be blocking access to System Files, preventing their repair or modification.
  7. If the issue persists, we may be looking at hard drive failure, but let's not get ahead of ourselves, first repair your System.
These tasks are very time-consuming and require patience. If you're not a patient man, it'd be best if you get a cup of tea and... I don't know, a friend with 4-5 hours of spare time to keep you calm throughout the process.

You could try just running checkdisk and avoid needing to format if it's just filesystem corruption.

And if it's NOT just filesystem corruption and your drive is physically damaged, formatting won't stop the problem from coming back.
This.
Trust me, checkdisk will fix it.
