Hacking All Firmwares for the R4

Not going to update this anymore sorry guys. All of these R4s are really confusing to me now they keep closing and opening new websites with new names. I don't even know what the R4 SDHC is anymore there are like 10 different kind with the same name. Each clone website has 5 different versions of there products, R4-SDHC, R4-SDHCi, R4-SDHC 1.4, R4-SDHC 1.4.1, R4 Christmas edition, R4 original, R4 in Red, and all of these R4s all use different firmwares even though they are from the same company.

Can you make a concise list of firmware that should work on every R4? Or are some R4 locked, so only the clone firmware works?

You screwed yourself over and you are totally out of luck. Buy an AK2i/DSTWO/EZVi or something or get a DSL/DSPhat.

Hello,

I have my oldest original R4 flashcart, stuck with 1.18 official firmware. I decide to upgrade this, so I dig down to find all piles of what the hell are these R4 stuff.

So now, the latest version of Wood R4 is 1.16, but you said that the best firmware is 1.09. Which one I should go with?

Oh and, I would like to know the list of changelog for Wood R4.

If you didn't notice, he hasn't updated the thread in a while...so yes, just use the latest version of WoodR4.

Does anybody know what firmware will work on the R4sdhc from www.r4ds.us ?
Is it possible to install wood or another firmware that allows to play new games like mario vs donkeykong ?

Sorry to bring this up now that the thread isn't maintained, but my friend brought me an R4i card that I keep having issues...
It is a gray cart with gold sticker that says R4i Revolution for DS (DSi, DSL, NDS) www.r4ids.com
And so far the only firmware I have been able to run on it is the one on that particular website...
The bad thing is that it won't run Pokemon B/W either cracked or uncracked.
I tried running many other alternative firmwares, but the go to white screen after "Loading" or stay at the loading screen forever.
Any ideas, I also tried YSmenu and AKAIO, single and dual boots.
I'm running out of patience ant time, so any help?

Hallo ich brauche hilfe habe versucht meine r4 sdhc dual-core karte mit dem dazu gehörigen update von der seite http://www.r4isdhc.com/r4-download !
sah auch ganz gut aus zumschluss sagt er das ich neu staren sol, tat ich dan auch. nur das feld, wo ich die r4 karte starte war lehr!!! :frown:

Jetzt versuche ich es krampfhaft wieder her zu stellen! bitte helft mir wer!!

habe schon eine Icyclops Ievolution geflasht und das war nich so schwierig die dies!



ich end schuldige mich schon mal für die rechtschreibung!!

Hi everyboby I'm new and search the forum but I cant found anything about my R4i Gold card, is from www.r4igold.cn is different!
My card is from this website http://www.r4igold.cn/downloade1.asp
But I cant download the R4i-Gold New 3DS V4.4.0-10 patch because bronken link.
Anyone dowloaded this file some days ago R4iGNEW_3DS44Patch.rar ?
If possible upload for rapidshare, 4shared or something else... I really need this upgrade firmware for my 3DS!

OP is banned, 99% of carts on this list are "do not buy" anyways, nobody cares about the clone softwares, if a clone can use YSMenu with RGF's updates then it's still usable, if not people drop it and get another cart.

Maybe this thread should be unstickied, or the OP modified to link to the ultimate flashcart download index? There's like 10 stickies in the R4 section and it's impossible to tell which ones you should read as a newbie.
