Gaming 3ds Streetpass Mii Plaza Problems

HELP!!!!

Basically up until last night I had 252 mii's in my streetpass plaza.
I got my usual streetpass with my girlfriend last night and this appeared....(see image)

...Just a blank square, not detailing the last game she has been play. Which i've never once seen in two years of 3dsing.

Now I open my 3ds to check my streetpass this morning and nearly all my characters have gone. I've just got the original 49 i transferred over when I upgraded from the original 3ds to the XL.

How can i get them back. Please help.

ps. Ive changed the date and time back and forth. But it seems to have done nothing (as suggested on another side)

pps. I've just checked hers and hers has reset too. She's lost around 70 Mii's

sounds like there was Data corruption
you using a Nintendo SD card that came with the consoles or ones you bought yourself

both cards are official.
i was hoping getting new streetpass and leaving the 3ds's for 24-48hours would sort them out. Neither has worked.

any other suggestions please??

There is no such thing as official Nintendo 3DS SD cards. Nintendo just happened to use Lexar branded SD cards in their 3DS consoles.

Sadly, I don't think there is any way to recover your Streetpass hits.

There is no way of getting your hits back.
Also, as far as I know, if your StreetPass hits are from Mario Kart 7, these disappear after some time, but it could be, because I was changing SD Cards.

UPDATE!!!

Its definitely data corruption. I've lost all my Activity Log data images and notification images. The data is recorded (amount of plays, play time etc) but the icons only appear after i've open up the app again.
Also another problem i've just noticed....

....Within the Streetpass Plaza, scroll all the way to the left to access settings. The option to allow invitations will not turn from 'off' to 'on', no matter how many times I try it.
It's never been set to 'off' before. Must have changed when it glitched up the other day.

I'm copying the SD to my mac, formatting the SD card and copying back. Hopefully it'll work.


PS. I've searched long and hard and I cant seem to find any other info on this. Surely its not just me.

Hate to say it man, but this sounds like just you. I've not heard any issues like this before at least not with a legit and trusted SD card. But hey, if you lost any downloaded games, you should be able to download them again at no charge.

I've spoken to Nintendo. Im sending my 3ds as soon as possible.
If they have to wipe the 3ds. I'll be able to redownload all my games/apps. But I wont be able to recover my streetpass data

:-( So Sad. I've all the puzzle pieces and only 1 hat to get :-(.

All my saves are fine for all games, no corruption at all.

I've got two 3ds. I'm going to switch the SD card files back and forth between the two. Until i've found the files for streetpass and try and fix this myself before I send it off and loose everything.

Trouble is all the files stored to the SD card are labeled as giberish.

That's pretty shit, hope they don't have to wipe your streetpass data, it's taken me ages to get 95% of the hats too

my point made. There is no single official sd card for the 3ds. Nintendo will use whatever makes the most sense for their pockets at the time (striking deals with a manufacturer to get bulk quantities at great discounts)

i havent send my 3ds back to nintendo. im to scared they'll just wipe it.
and now ive discovered another problem. i cant change my pants colour in mii maker. it just wont change #fml

Oh man i'm sorry that sucks this same stupid thing happened to me when i 1st got my 3ds i had to send it to nintendo so they could fix it.
