Well, actually I did nothing but simply replace patches.c (v2.6) with patches.c (v2.5)
then those "broken" games (EX:Godzilla ,Star Wars Jedi ,MKDD...)
work no problem.

What kind of source code I should release ? It's all crediar's efforts.

BTW, it's interesting that the changes of v2.7 source doesn't match
the WAD file. (if anyone has ever tried to compile the source)

Oh, okay, thanks, good to know. I guess a little adjustment comparing patches.c for 2.5, 2.6, and 2.7 and I'll see if I can compile a working version then ... (when I have the time, that is.)

In that case I'll stick with my current version of DM 2.6 until a proper fix is being released, good job everybody!

@airline38 I understand now why you refused to post the change along, however I think you're being harsh on yourself, what you did is really impressive and none of us could do!

fixing games that 2.6 broke.
that would be good (I think I knew that but I'm too damn tired these days)

Oh okay, now I see why (sorry missed this post earlier).

Okay, as far as airline38's fix of just swapping out the patches.c file, I was thinking of just applying the 2.7 changes to the 2.5 code to skip the buggy 2.6 changes and see if that works
BUT
at first glance I noticed that there are actually 2 patches.c files, one in /trunk and one in /DML both seem to have the same changes made to them (and I'd assume one is for DM and the other is just for DML ... but my question :

I change both of them right?
(I haven't even looked at it well enough to figure out how tell which to compile, DM or DML, but I'll get there.)

EDIT : NEVER MIND. I see how it works now (the answer is "yes" BTW)

Hey guys. Does anybody have Medal of Honor: Rising Sun working with Dios Mios? I've been trying to get that game to work and I'm not sure if it's possible

Nope, not working in any DM (L) rev, it hangs just right after selecting a mission.
Better try with Devolution or a disc backup (if your Wii disc drive support it). I played it via Neogamma with a cMIOS (Wiigator) without issues.

That sounds ideal :D I hope it works.

Version 2.7 does not fix the force widescreen / enable pad hook issue. In fact it makes it worse because now you can't even force widescreen when disabling the pad hook. The games I tested just green screen. I checked Hitman 2 and Tomb Raider Legend.

Can anybody confirm?

Has anyone noticed the in-game reset/power down button combo doesn't work with the current version? And how are we supposed to give compatibility feedback if the official one requires jumping through hoops?

I'd like to reiterate the padhook statement as false, i had to switch it on in the settings for it to work, you also have to do it per game. I'm still concerned about my second question though as i really want to help with this.

On USB or SD? I can confirm they work with 2.6, although they come with expected graphic glitches. Are you referring to that or does it simply not work? I can test for you if you like.

You're right 2.7 does make it worse.

Tested Skies of Arcadia:
2.4: can enable both "DML Pad Hook" and "DML Progressive Patch" no problems
2.5: can only enable either "DML Pad Hook" or "DML Progressive Patch" but if both are enabled causes game to crash on boot
2.7: enabling "DML Progressive Patch" causes game to crash on boot. Doesn't matter if "DML Pad Hook" is enabled or not.

So I need help. I wanted to play SSX 3 on DM Lite, but the problem is the games takes too much time loading and would freeze at a certain point (mostly 99%), freeze randomly while I'm playing, and the audio would stutter alot. I want to know if there's any way to fix those problems 'cause SSX On Tour is suprisingly working good for me but 3 isn't.

Long time lurker here and I've just created this account to confirm that DM (not lite) 2.7 gives a green screen when having progressive patch enabled. Using USB Loader GX r1208. As themanuel said in his post, it happens even with pad hook disabled. Tried a clean install of 2.7, same thing. Went back to 2.6 in the meantime.

Version 2.8 is up.

-updated to version 2.8-

*Fixed a bug in GCLoader that broke the progressive patch
*Moved progressive patch back 16 bytes, this fixes PADHOOK and progressive
patching not working at the same time

Thanks to FIX94 who sacrificed his school carer for testing this release!

Thanks!
