Watch Dogs to be out this holiday "on all home consoles", coming to Wii U

A poster was leaked saying that Watch Dogs will be out this holiday for "all home consoles". The game has only been confirmed to have a PS3/360/PC release so far so this means that it is also coming out on the Wii U. Some think that this may also mean that it'll be releasing on the PS4/720 which are rumoured to have a holiday release date but that remains to be seen.

There was another leaked upcoming Wii U game list detailing Watch Dogs and Rainbow 6 Patriots Wii U as upcoming games. That and an insider elsewhere verified it so it's all but confirmed.

That one completely flew under my radar- I was thinking about the world of warcraft one and I guess there was also the Tomb Raider one way back but that always seemed to be more a take off of the films.

Most of the others seemed to be more of the in name only* rather than actual effort.

*cue discussion of is there enough story/theme in games to pull off a solid parody.

Meh, considering how much Ubishit has fucked the Wii U over so far this year, I will take this with a grain of salt until it's actually confirmed. And even then, I won't buy it. Ever. Ubisoft has pissed me off so much that I refuse to support a company who believes that it is acceptable to push a development team to the brink to meet a release day, then push the release day back 7 months and announce the game as multiplatform 2 weeks before it's due out. And the fact that games like Watch Dogs weren't announced for the Wii U originally just shows that they don't care about people who have bought the console, or the fact that it rofl stomps the 360 and PS3 in performance and it's a waste to even develop a game for such dated hardware. Oh well, that's what happens when all you care about is money.

You do know that if you don't buy it, it's the developers getting screwed over right? Also, not buying it means that Ubisoft can give up on the hardware all together. If you're upset, email them or write them letters. Don't punish the developers further than they already have been.
