hello, I'm kinda new with the psvita, and I just bought one with wifi and 3g

I would love to play psp backups on it, how to do this?

AFAIK, Sony has already removed/patched the necessary game and firmware required to exploit the feature. You'll just need to wait for the next one (if there is any) I guess

You can't do anything for now. Update to the latest version and enjoy PSN, Vita games and other stuff. I will update my hacking thread if anything new comes to light.

If you had a ps3 as well there is 1 option..
What you could do is purchase Mad Blocker Alpha or Urbanix which are both back online. Then transfer to your vita with Open CMA (read up on wololo.net as mentioned)
Then you would have access to homebrew.

That doesn't work, open CMA doesn't prevent your PS3 to check for updates online. It prevents your PC from going online.

Not to start an argument mate but it does work.
I've done it myself with a ac3 white vita which was on 1.60.

updated to 1.81. (manually-readforums)
start open CMA (old version for pre 1.80 firmware)
Connect Vita to pc.
Open Content Browser
DC
Connect to ps3 (unplug ps3 interweb to be sure nothing funky happens)
Copy MBA.
Take vita back to pc
Copy Gamesave
Profit.

Again @ op. Dig on wololo forums for more info. No need to update vita unless you must have psn access (which is now blocked via the proxys)

edit: Can use same method to grab PSN+ freebies as well. Picked up Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus yesterday even with the proxy option now blocked.
