Is the 0.9.8 version of RetroArch compatible with the Wii?
As far as I know only 0.9.1 can be used on the Wii but I'm not sure about the 0.9.8 one.

That's because Wii Mednafen uses a barely modified VBA core

Anyway, I'll check it out and try to fix it. No promises when it gets fixed.

We ported Nestopia to libretro today too - runs fullspeed on Wii and doesn't have the 'audio desync / audio pop' issues that plagues other Nestopia ports/versions. Overall should be better for general usage than the current FCEUmm in RetroArch 0.9.7.

Just out of curiosity, how does it compare to FCEUmm in terms to visual and audio accuracy?

I was playing Metal Slug 2 the other day and noticed the blood aint red but white, which looks
really weird.
So is there a way to change it to red? different rom? DIP switches menü?

I'm hard at work getting the release out - for all platforms.

Regarding the guy having issues with Metal Slug and white blood - yes, you need to go to Service Mode (there's a button combo for it - it's L + R + Start + Select on the current version - it will be changed in the new one) and set it to Red Blood.

Ok ... I need help with retroarchii. I used retroarchi to load snes roms and works like a charm, but when i try to load CSP1´s rom i have this message : An error occurred during ROM loading. What is wrong?

Yeah. There might still be an audio desync if you play for longer than half an hour - maister thinks it's a bug in Nestopia 1.43's APU code. No word yet on when that will be fixed.

Glad to hear it! Still, as long as it's better overall than the Fceu core (if that's what the older one was called). I'll do some tests once it comes out, if need be. Wished I new more about the NES/Famicom APU

Perhaps just porting Nestopia 1.40 or some version which didn't have this problem could be the trick.

Whatever works best, but won't that push the release back further?
