Hello there,

Does anyone know if there is any fan translations to some of the "Corpse Party" survival horror games for PlayStation Portable?

To be more exact
The only one I have been able to find in English is the officially translated "Corpse Party: Blood Covered Repeated Fear"

Thanks :)

Or just use a US PSN account?

A Bit too much hassle for me personally when I can wait it out for a small bit of time, Truth be told I prefer UMD when I buy legit since id have to buy a USA PSN Card and its Normally too high a value for what I want to buy, and last time I considered trying to add my bank card to a UK PSN rather than Norway PSN it refused my card :/

Initially i felt the same way about UMD, but ultimately if you ever plan to get a Vita you'll regret it (plus this won't get a UMD release). For the UK PSN why not use Paypal? I'm pretty sure you can set up a Paypal Credit card fro the US PSN too.

I don't plan to get rid of my PSP 1k and 3k so that's OK by me with the Vita thing Sides I am balls deep in UMD's as it is (60+) so might as well continue that road:P I think ill wait a little bit see if it comes up on European PSN before I start messing with multiple PSN accounts :P

I have a question and yes I'm asking for spoilers
Does this game end up being supernatural and stuff?

From what I can tell it takes place after Corpse Party: Blood Covered Repeated Fear and its still stated as survival horror so Id assume so, Corpse Party wouldn't be a Corpse Party without... Corpses after all :P

I meant the whole series, I haven't played any of them. Corpses aren't supernatural. There's a difference between someone being murdered and someone being inhabited by a demon or something.

Yup its a supernatural ghost series of games :)

I recommend you start with Corpse Party BCRF for obvious reasons

Finally out in Europe! (Even though I had to use the search function to find it, it was not listed in "Newest games".) It is glorious! Though I'm glad I did not play the first episode on the bus because of the blatant fan service. :P But man, watching the intro video and opening song gave me the shivers. xD

I "Acquired" a Translated copy of the Video from the Limited Editions Japanese Bonus DVD now there is one part in there that was VERY fan service lol

All I'll say is its a scene with Naomi and Seiko... although it fits into Seiko's character given she has no shame

I just played around 10 mins and it's mostly talking...
The fanservice was the same as seiko bathing her brother. just naomi instead of her brother.

Wallpapers and music also unlocks when you have a Corpse Party BCRF save file.

Haha, it's always Seiko! Maybe I'll have a look at that OVA too. xD

@Narayan: Yeah, it's a lot more Visual Novel than the previous game. So I wouldn't recommend this game to any of my friends unless they like those kind of games. I got the gallery unlocks yeah, used one for my Vita lock screen. :)

I started today book of shadows as well......very, very nice.
It's been a long time since I had something worth playing on my PSP.
And this is one of the few games that I can see is been written specifically for the PSP, and it looks and feels just right.

It's a weird feeling and I can't quite put my finger on it, but I got like an impression that most PSP games are developed with something else in mind ( PS2, or PC or whatever ) , developed on development tools with a certain resolution, and then scaled down/up to fit the PSP screen.
In most situation I see blurry or badly scaled text or models. That's why I'm not a fan of the PSP screen.

But with Corpse Party BoS you can clearly see that the game runs at the right resolution, and the text is a joy too look at ( which is important, as it' mostly what you'll be doing in here, reading, and also the audio is fantastic of course ).

So yeah, I'm excited about this, it's the perfect title for me to play before going to sleep, like reading a good book....hopefully won't give me nightmares like the first title ;)
