Recently I fucked up my back where I had surgery on years ago. I don't know how I did, but I'm unable to sit until I have no idea. Which means I haven't been able to play any WiiU or PS3 as that requires me to sit down on a chair or couch. But I decided to hook up my old gamecube in our guest room so I can lay down on the bed and play some games.
I don't have any games myself so I've been forced to borrow my friend's games. No stores here sell GC games. EB games only has PS2 and Xbox for "old games" and no thrift stores or pawn shops carry any either. Anyways, these are the games I've been playing, put into spoiler form to make it easier for you to decide what to read.
Luigi's Mansion
Pikmin
Mario Sunshine
After I'm done these two, I'm going to borrow his Wind Waker game. I beat it once, and I remember the beginning being slower than molasses, but the game itself picking up a lot of pace and being one of the best Zelda games.
Anyways, just thought I'd share my thoughts on some games.

Luigi's Mansion
Anyways, the first game I beat was Luigi's Mansion. And I have to say, I don't get why all the hate for that game. I loved it. I thought it was really fun. A bit short, but the graphics, music and tone all made me feel like I was playing a Nintendo game, I thought it was awesome.
Pikmin
Now I'm starting Pikmin. I've never played Pikmin before, so it's taking me a while to get good at it. I hate how Pikmin somehow get stuck behind shit, like they can't just follow you, or they'll randomly attack stuff for no reason. Still an enjoyable game.
Mario Sunshine
I'm also currently playing Mario Sunshine. I'll admit, first time I played this years ago, I loved it. Never beat it or got far in it, but I still enjoyed it. But as time went on, I forgot what the game was like all together. So I picked it up, and holy shit, THE CAMERA! THE CAMERA! FUCK THE CAMERA!
I don't know what I was seeing when I was younger, but I do not remember the camera being this bad. It's been the reason why I died so many times. It randomly zooming out. It not turning properly, it completely zooming in too much or get stuck behind shit that I have no idea what I'm doing. It's because of this camera, why I'm understanding why so many people are hating the game. How could they fuck up the camera? IT'S SO EASY! Then again, even the level designs aren't all that good.
