He did. It's clearly written in the op, so it's not the bobbing motion.Maybe your just allergic to horses. Did you try playing RDR1?
My room is fully lit bc I don't have a habit of using screens in the dark. It is also at a low brightness, I don't think I can see anything if it is lower than the current 25%. I also tried to play it first thing in the morning the day after my first "failure" thinking it was just a coincidence the first time so it isn't other screens contributing.Try lowering the screen brightness as much as you can, and if you're playing in a dark room turn on the lights or some lamp nearby, as looking at a screen in a dark room puts more strain on the eyes. Also take into account the time you spend with other screens like your phone or TV, as those will also contribute to you feeling nauseous much faster.
And as already mentioned check your eyes, maybe you need glasses, and if you already use them maybe it's time to get new ones. Glasses should be replaced roughly every year and a half.
My mom actually gave me some lol! I didn't know they were pseudo science though so idk about the placebo effect. You could always give something like sea-bands a try. A big disclaimer though is that they're mostly a placebo. They work based on acupressure, which is widely considered by experts to be pseudo-science. That having been said, there are many people who swear by them.
I've never had to deal with video game-related motion sickness personally, but I've heard that widening the field of view in a game that's giving you motion sickness can help alleviate it.
I didn't find anything like that in the settings but I'll check again tbs.My ex had a similar issue with Portal 1 and 2 and other FPS games. She made it a bit better by adjusting the FOV. For some reason, she had a lot of issues with Portal 1 and 2, but not Killing Floor. lol
I am third person but will give first person and camera speed a try.Are you playing first person or third person view? If the former try switching to third person. I can't play first person games at all because I get sick like you've described, but playing the same game in third person if there's an option usually doesn't cause any sickness.
Another thing that gets me is camera speed. I usually start feeling a light dizziness whenever the camera whips around too fast. If I keep playing it will go into full on nausea. Some games have settings to adjust how fast the camera moves. Slowing that down has helped me sometimes.
Hope these suggestions help you out some. Good luck!
