Earlier Kotaku wrote an article saying Hideki Kamiya of Platinum Games is delirious about PC gaming and Valve. Article here:

http://kotaku.com/5974039/the-guy-who-made-bayonetta-is-clueless-about-valve-and-pc-gaming

Hideki responded amazingly:

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=507443

Then as you can see, Kotaku added this little bit of note at the end of the original article:

The original headline for this story—"The Guy Who Made Bayonetta Is Clueless about Valve and PC Gaming"—has been changed. "Clueless" was a poor choice of words and we apologize for the negative connotation. That said, we appreciate Kamiya's colorful reaction to the story and hope that, now that we've changed the headline, those who couldn't get past that will be able to read the piece. - Stephen Totilo, Editor-in-Chief

i lol'd.

But... Japanese developers ARE clueless about Western-style game development. It's not really a huge secret, either. They have their own way of doing things, which is neither a bad nor a good thing - it's just different.

This guy knows Valve and PC gaming, some of his games are on Steam. But the original title and how they were reporting it was that he doesn't know about PC gaming or know what Valve is. But also the fact that they twisted his words around. He said "Not interested in PC gaming" but they made it sound as if he was clueless about it.

That's why he got pissed off because they made him seem like a retard.

Kotaku is a horrible news website that masquerades as a "blog" so it can insert shit opinions and bias into their news. Not to mention the horrific amount of fluff or just plain misleading titles to attract hits is quite embarrassing.

Plus it falls under "gamer pandering" a fair amount of time where it just tries to post anything "nerd culture" for hits. I really wish that someone cared to make something video game related that doesn't pander to gamers. Like G4 is horrible at pandering, as are most of these websites that have video reviews or news.

AKA we need more stuff that's Gamestation 2.0. Funny in general (not based off "gamer humor"), well written, but still has some gaming related stuff in it.

I don't blame them for not utilizing cloud gaming or streaming games on the same level as we do. It's a fad that needs to die. Cloud gaming has major disadvantages; what if you're playing a game and the server crashes, connection drops or the company goes under? Owning the physical copy is so much better. Steam does it right, at least the files are on your HDD.

You don't even own games on Steam, you only own licenses to use the games you buy.

Cloud gaming has its upsides and its downsides. It's not designed for PC gamers who spend thousands of dollars on their gaming rigs. It's for people who want to play high-end PC games on a lower-end computer. It doesn't "need to die", to say so would be rather damn selfish, it's simply an alternative way to PC game. Everyone understands its pros and cons, whether you like it is up to you, it's not going to hurt the industry.

Kamiya is a boss. Calls Playstation All-Stars a rip-off, tells foreigners to fuck off and lets Kotaku know that they should eat shit.

Corrected, they're just like IGN.

So far you've made two claims against them and provided zero evidence. Why is it bad? Why is it just like IGN? Eurogamer's writers are articulate and write well....just because a site doesn't have the word Nintendo in it's url in some form doesn't make it bad.
