Ive recieved my dstwo today, and have been trying to no avail to get it to work.
Every time I try to update the card, it says the update is successful, I leave it sitting for a few mins, then turn the DS off. Pop it into my 3DS, shows up as Alex Rider. I hit play, and error.
Strangely, when I put it back in my DS, it displays Supercard.
And when I check the Micro SD, the update file is gone. Its like It keeps deleting the update.
Im not really sure what to do about this, it works PERFECT on my DS but not my 3DS. And my 3DS isnt even on 4.5 yet

well we sure went through some hell yesterday with this thing in the shoutbox. Ive tried the paper trick, the update by other flashcard trick, tried dozens of reformats, and the strangest thing about all this, is the fact that it works like a dream on my dslite, but does not work on my 3ds. I guess it could still be a contact issue... After all, I do have trouble getting the dstwo to show up on my 3ds sometimes. And when it finally shows up, it just gives me an error message. I dont think the carts damaged in any way, it works fine on my ds. Is there any other issue you can think of that could be happening besides contact?

I recently got a dstwo and mine throws an error now and again which requires me to then reboot the 3ds to make it work again. Meaning if I see the error, close out of dsmode(dstwo) and try again, I'll keep getting an error. Rebooting the 3ds will let it work again. This error usually happens after I play something using the flashcart though, although it has happened after just putting it into the system and trying to load it up for the first time that playing session.

I'm not sure if that information helps at all but you could try rebooting the 3ds then trying again. I popped the cart out while the system is off then once back at the home screen I put it in and start it up. That usually works if I'm getting an error.

I had an acekard for a while before this and never had a problem, although the problem of not being able to update the card has prompted me to get a dstwo. Which could be considered worse than the somewhat annoying error I get now and again with the new dstwo.

I'm not an idiot and the set up of the dstwo SD card is correct, just not sure why I get the error either.

Well, heres something thats kind of weirding me out.
When I keep trying to get the dstwo to recognize, if I move the dpad after a couple of times of popping the cart in and out, my system freezes... and if I try to turn off the system without doing anything, it turns the screen off but still plays sound. i have to hold the power button for a while before it finally turns off. when I turn it back on, its back to normal.
Is that a normal occurrance? :O

SOLVED IT!!!!!! First off make sure you have updated your card to the latest eos and are running beta 1.19. Now WITHOUT the card in your 3ds, turn the unit on, use the wifi switch on the side and shut the wifi connectivity OFF/no yellow light. Next fully power down your 3ds, insert supercard, boot 3ds, run card. IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN WIRELESS ON BEFORE BOOTING SUPERCARD. The current version of the supercard bypasses the wireless hardware in the 3ds and that was causing all of our units (I assume) to freeze up when encountering the wireless code that there was no proper bypass for. Hope this helps! PS: it took me 20 minutes to make my damn account! I hate facebook -.-

Well, it helped the 3ds recognize it easier (the paper trick wasnt helping with crap)
But im still getting an error message. But I can work from here, so I appreciate this.

I actually just ran into the error again and I found out that at least on my system the proven method is to start mashing the A button as soon as I hit the power button and it boots fine. But I mean really mashing it. Like so that the game tries to launch and you hear the ding before the screen is even done booting. I really hope this helps everyone get their systems working.

I'm having the same issue. It was working fine when i first got my cart. Now when ever i was using it errors came intermittently. Now it seems to be a pain in the ass to get this to work anymore. I have to load the Settings menu and close it to see the cart in my 3ds, then when i see Alex rider i click it and i get an error all the time now =[

I have 3ds version 4.4 and the 1.18 fireware which worked fine prevously till now, days before im about to sell this 3ds and get my XL off ebay

@Max, you solved the problem for me! I only had problems with freeze and black screens on bootup, no error message. Without wifi it boots perfect.

EDIT: Eh, after I just updated the 3DS with march 26 update, DSTWO will no longer boot, but it loads fine if inserted after bootup.
