There are four auctions on eBay which have caught my interest. They all seem to show no signs of wear as far as I can tell.

There is one which is going for $82.00 (+$15 Postage) which "Has had little use and sits in cupboard" and comes in the original box. The auction ends in a few hours.
Sold for $107.50
The second one is in "MINT CONDITION" and comes with several games pre-installed. It is sitting at $76.00 (+$12 Postage). The auction ends in a couple of days.
Sold for $76.00
The third PSP GO "Was taken out of the box, but never used". Relatively new auction which is at $1.54 (+$15 Postage) and will end in 5 days time.
Sold for $91.00
The fourth and final auction is sitting at $0.99 (+$25 Postage) and ends in 6 days. Part of the description reads "in brand new condition".
Sold for $66.00

Do any of these seem like good deals? Keep in mind I live in Australia and the prices tend to be a little higher over here compared to the US.

If you want the links to the specific webpages, just click the respective points above. Also, first post. :P

Try to keep posts on-topic please.

Pressing Alt + 7 with Num Lock on will create the • symbol. I then proceeded to use the Insert/edit link tool on each of the four points.

There isn't a "good price" as they vary dependent upon prevailing pressure from retail (over here the used retail price which was on offer from GAME pushed the second hand ebay market down!). Just do a completed item search and get an idea of the prices they end at.

Also, i'd HIGHLY recommend that you think about ditching the Go entirely and opting for a 2000 or 3000. The design of the Go is really inferior to the older models, with the controls in particular taking a huge usability and comfort hit on the Go.

Always quick to criticize the Go's ergonomics, aren't you xist? Most people say that the controls are not as bad as they look. The main reason I am getting the Go instead of an earlier model is because of the better screen.

I was originally going to get a 3000, but I didn't like any of the colours available. I don't know, I'm a little picky when it comes to aesthetics.

I am currently the highest bidder for an auction that ends in less than 10 minutes time. I'll keep you posted.

I criticise it because unlike you i have first hand experience and i'd rather point out the problems that make the Go less pleasurable to actually PLAY on than the 1000/2000/3000

The screen isn't noticeably better or worse (other than being noticeably, and negatively, smaller), and in fact the wobble at the hinge will probably irritate your aesthetic need. Assuming you're bidding on a white console it'll also have sparkles which will also probably bug you (and if you're bidding on a black Go then the 3000 and 2000's also come in black)

Having used a GBA SP and a 3DS, the Go's design is more familiar to me. Also, having a Dualshock 3 controller and component cables gives me the option to use this as both a portable and a mini console of sorts. It may defeat the purpose of a portable, but if the option is there, I won't complain.

not having to buy a separate memory stick and the fact that you don't need a umd drive when using cfw anyway is a good reason to get the go over the 3000 models, it's portable and it holds the battery well too, go for it.

I got mine on ebay some weeks ago for 63€ with shipping cost included. It was new with all sealed plastic.
I like so much PSPgo (now that it's hackable)
Good luck

Got mine in last xmass and i feel a little divided when i go to bed, 'cause i have a 3ds too and booth have great games.
IMO Go is better than 3000 because of the controls, it seems better built than 3000, it haves a smaller screen, but the lack of umd drive and internal 16Gigs made my decision when i bought it.

I heard about GameStop reducing the used price of them so I went to snag one up on Friday few days ago for $50. Good condition no major scratches on screen lucky find considering this was possibly the only one available in the city at the moment. Bought the $5 warranty for it since I am weary of the sliding mechanism or potential battery wear.

Funny, I personally was not fond of the controls on the Go. At least first impressions when Sony first brought it out felt awful.

It is especially awful when playing PSX games that use all the shoulder buttons readily, or any that would normally use both analog sticks.

But the upside of the go over any other model is the ability to pair up a PS3 controller via bluetooth, which resolves any control(ler) dilemmas I might have had. About the one reason I wish I had (or there is/was) an extended battery pack for the Go is because the bluetooth really kills the battery.
