Hacking New Super Mario Bros U on Original Wii

Should I continue making NSMBU on Wii no matter what happens?

I have decided that I am going to create a full blown NSMBU Game on Wii for those who can't afford a Wii U. The way I am going to do this is by hours of studying walkthrough videos and copying each piece into a level on NSMBWii using Reggie! Level Editor. However, I am fairly new to this and have a few questions that some of you readers may be able to answer. First of all, is there any way to edit the World Maps? Any way at all would be good, even if it requires hours of coding, i'll do it. Second of all, is it possible to edit the video that plays at the beginning and others? And last but not least, can you modify the File Selection Screen? Thank you to all that answer in later time, and none of you will be left out... Cheer me on!!!

OK!

Good Luck!

Do You know how much coders earn these days? You can afford WiiU+game for about one week of work.

Just one question for anybody out there.
What about the new power-up(s)! How could we program them into the NSMBW engine?

I was thinking that I could figure out a powerup in NSMBWii closest to the actual power up in NSMBU.

For example, Acorn Suit = Propeller Suit.

That is... Unless someone out there knows how to make custom powerups in NSMBWii.

Yeah, but I feel like doing it the hard way for two reasons. One, I decided that i'm gonna hold back on buying a Wii U and wait for a Xbox 720 or a PS4. Second, for those, including me, that really don't wanna buy a $400 Console but want to enjoy the Mario U Game and happen to have a Wii.

Plus, I have an modified Wii that's just laying around for when my friends come over and dance on Just Dance 4, so I really want to have another use for the old console.

Hey Readers!

If anyone out there has found an excellent NSMBU Tileset for NSMBWii, please send me a link. I would like to give this hack a full NSMBU Experience (with the exception of most likely no new power-ups.

Awesome good luck I worked on a remake of the original game on NSMB when the reggie editor came out. It shouldn't be too hard the only hard part is the new items but I wouldn't worry about those until the end because it is really the levels that matter first before anything else for a project like this.
