EDIT:

For vWii editions you need to dump base ios

• IOS56-64-v5918.wad
• IOS57-64-v6175.wad
• IOS58-64-v6432.wad

I strongly suggest you read the following before installing d2x or d2x-alt on a vWii:

You can build the Wii versions with ModMii. If you want to use it on a vWii, you have to use the d2x installer.

I run into a problem with d2x vWii installation. I dumped my vWii NAND using FSToolbox and created the IOS WADs using ShowMiiWads 1.5 MOD by orwel. They were named IOS**-v****.wad. So i renamed them to IOS**-64-v****.wad and copied them to the SDcard. I downloaded d2x v10 for vWii as well as the d2x cIOS installer 3.1 and copied them into the same folder under /apps/ as suggested. When i run the installer and select d2x v10 vWii with base IOS 56 into slot 249, revision 21010 i have to select slot 249 (blinking) but when pressing A it patches and gives me a red slot 249 afterwards (which means "failed").

Any suggestions?

Try using d2x-cios-installer v2.2 and select ios236.

by getting the IOS... meta (first download) all installer canceld the instalation

That was working - i was able to install the cIOSes.

I noticed some games that were working on a regular Wii don't work on vWii now. But i think that may be a beta related issue...?

No, everithing should work like on a Wii.
Which d2x did you install and which games are you referring to?

I used d2x v10 vWii beta52 (not the alt one).

For example:

Mario Kart Wii and Tetris Party Deluxe are both working on a regular Wii.
On vWii only Mario Kart Wii is running. Tetris Party Deluxe doesn't. It doesn't even bring the first picture about secure handling with the wiimote. It looks to me like it drops the video connection between tv and the console (likely as it would switch it off)...

Does the retail disc work on vWii? I know some games are supposed to have issues.

A tester of mine told me that Tetris Party Deluxe works for him with both d2x and d2x-alt. It works with save emulation too.

Yeah dragbe gave me commit rigths on d2x-cios-installer project but I'll be on vacation in the next days.
So if someone else manages to update it I'll be glad to commit changes.

Has d2x Cios Installer been updated to be compatible with motion plus controllers? Just tried the app for the first time and mi Wiimote just stops working.

Is there any solution for this?
