It's a modded version of v8 final, you're going to have to wait like everybody else until davebaol releases the modded version of d2x that supports vWii.

seem xfalk has updated modwii
6.2.3 Changelog
  • ModMii now instructs users to install Bootmii as IOS because v1.2 of the HackMii installer no longer automatically\silently installs it at startup.
  • ModMii's d2x cIOS beta selector will omit WiiU\vWii cIOSs going forward.

Ahh, good question, sorry for not mentioning it before, but the problem was with save emulation.
Thank you, Sir. I don't use save emulation so that's why I did not notice a difference. I always thought save emulation added an extra layer of complications without providing any useful functionality, so never thought it was worth the trip, having 200+ MB of space available in the NAND.

I'm very glad things picked up again and this tread got resurrected from the ashes ;) !

I was coming daily in here to check on new versions due to some drives still having problems even with the latest beta d2x r49.
Namely some toshiba canvio 500gb usb 2.0/3.0.
Any chances of having improved drivers at this point ?
I suppose all the works will go toward vWii from now on, heck, my drive might actually work better with the Wii U !
After everything is said and done, and if we get to load Wii backups on the Wii U, I might actually go out and get a Wii U ( if I can find one ;) ) !!

use v8 for the toshiba drives. I have no issues using
toshiba with v8 but if I try v9 with the same drive
it might see it 1 out of 10 tries
