Hacking r4i gold 3ds help please ^^"

so i have an r4 card and i decided to update my 3ds (bad decision) so now im stuck with a non working r4 card. it wont even show up on the 3ds anymore. but i have a dsixl and it shows up and work 100%. the dsixl is v1.4.4u and the 3ds is v4.5.0-10u so what i was wondering is if it is possible to update the r4 card with the dsi, i have looked around google for quite some time and i cant seem to find anything to help me. this is the website on the card : http://r4ids.cn/index.htm

any help would be appreciated. btw, i couldnt find any help thread, sorry if i psted in the wrong area.

You need to download the latest firmware update file from that site for 4.5.x and run it on the DSi XL, once it's done updating it should run.

However the 4.5.x update sin't out for all the hardware models, so if you have an older one you'll have to wait for the update to come out.

well everytime i try to do the update with either .nds file, it says card check FAIL... any advice?

We're all in the same boat. I have the rev C card, and I get the same thing on my 1.4.4U DSi-XL and my 4.4.0-10 3DS. Nothing works.

so we just gotta wait for them to update it? so whoever has rev C can update it tho?

Yes, waiting is needed.

There's a few different models called "revision C", they got lazy and didn't call them differently even though they should have.

oh i see... how dissapointing, i guess i need to buy a dslite so i can play my card then... oh well, 3ds has enough games on it anyway xD
