Looks like your everyday average ring - either silver or silver-plated. Check the inner side of the ring for a jewelery hallmark - it will provide more information about the exact alloy it is made of. Knowing that and the weight will help you establish how much it's worth, although I wouldn't be too excited about it - silver jewelery is relatively inexpensive. If it has no markings, it's practically a worhless trinket.

The location mark (if any) will obviously differ since these are English marks and you're not UK-Based, check for Canadian ones if you're interested. The Silver Standards symbols apply though.

a thumb ring, was popular ~10 years ago (in Sweden). put it on your thumb and turn the outer ring with your index finger... like a stress ball thingy...

ya it's got no mark at all so that means it's worthless, but still neat:lol:

That would also probably mean that it's not actually silver - it's some other alloy (sort of hard to tell when all you can go by is a photo, y'see)... especially if the ring seems oddly heavy or oddly light for its size. :P You can double-check it at any jewelery store, but hey! It looks neat, I personally think it was made to be more of a decorative, casual gadget than a "real" piece of jewelery.
