I'll be attending tonight, as well as picking up my deluxe edition at midnight. Theres a long line already, but I've secured my spot! They gave out wristbands to people who are going to be getting it at midnight. Black for those who dont have a preorder, and Blue and White striped for those who do. I've got some friends there with me, and I know some people from the Steetpass NYC group. I'll try to remember to take pics so i can share them with you guys later!

I so foking envy you americans. Here in Denmark we have to wait untill november 30th. Wish I could go into some sort of cryogenic sleep and not wake up until that day. That would speed things up a tad...

Yes, but the Event is on 22 November, so 1 week before Launch.
'Normal' gamers are required to win a Contest, which ends in 2 days, and only 20 people will be chosen.
But since I'm part of the Press, I'm invited to come there, without the need of taking part of the Contest.

Yes a month, he normally does things of this nature for Nintendo events. When the city shut down due to Sandy the Nintendo Store told him that they would hold his place in line as he was being sent home against his wishes.

Hey guys,

I already have 2 deluxe versions preordered at Nintendo world. I'm not going to be in NYC until the 25th though. I should still be safe right?

When I made the preorder back in September, they told me that as long as I have the deposit receipt, I'm safe and doesn't matter when I pick it up, but a lot could've changed since then.. You think they will keep their word?

Any idea guys? I'm a bit worried to be honest.

Neogaf members are reporting being able to easily find wiiUs (depending on the location). Might want to give a couple of WMarts a ring.

Already paid mine off there, and not really in the mood for going out. Either way, judging by what I have seen on a few other sites, looks like the 8GB Models are easier to find, while the 32GB ones are flying off the shelves
