FakeAnim & Dashlaunch (JTAG/RGH 360 software)

Dashlaunch 3.03 has been released to support dash 16197 and the 4GB Corona boards.
Along with a couple of new features.
The most important being FakeAnim.

With FakeAnim you can set your own custom boot animation on the 360.


*WARNING*
Some consoles have slipped through the LiveDNS blocking of Dashlaunch.
So if you DO NOT want to have your KeyVault banned then DO NOT USE Dashlaunch 3.03.

Fakeanim seems nice. Wonder what people will come up with. As you have to delete a file from nand, I can see flood of bricked consoles coming from people who have bought em pre-done and don't have a hardware flasher.

You can still flash the console with XeLL.
Atleast it should still be flashable with XeLL but do they know that ;p?

Well readme warns not to play around unless you have a hardware flasher. I'd assume it's just a warning, incase Xell won't boot. It's just normally when you tell people to play around with files on the nand, I expect some really bad screw ups. I mean you wouldn't think anything would go wrong with plugging in a drive, but people seem to frequently blow them up by plugging in upside down, so I see some spectacular screw ups when you tell people to play with files on the nand.

Noobies will always find ways to make something which is failproof fail.


I've also seen some very bad screw ups with the original MRA hack .__.
And jTAGs that have gone wrong badly

But yeah I'm already preparing for an incoming flood of screw ups lol
