With the prices leaking earlier today, it was only a matter of time before Microsoft opened the pre-orders on their website with the respective prices also available.

With the prices surfacing earlier today
Fixed that for you. Seriously though this thing looks pretty neat. I already have a laptop, but it's pretty nice for people who want a tablet that can do a bit more, I guess.

I want I want I want I want I want I want!

Seriously, this thing looks and sounds amazing. And I just get impressed even more whenever I see it. Actually looks worth owning instead of an iPad (no offense to those who own an iPad).

Bit gutted the Pro isn't out until next year, even then I expect it to be delayed. Really can't wait to get my hands on a Surface Pro.

Although I'm not looking forward to seeing the price tag.

So, since the prices aparently got leaked, how about putting them in this thread somewhere?

I assume you're blind then, they're in the first post with the picture.

You might want to edit your original post then. It doesn't seem to be loading properly.

Here it is for anyone interested.

Microsoft has declared that the Surface Pro's price is "in-line with Ultrabook prices", well, I sure do hope that you have £1000 somewhere! :P

@OP
Better re-host that pic somewhere, it looks like the hosting is probably SO overloaded that it has gone to Oblivion.

The image isn't loading because you're hotlinking it from Neowin's website.

Mirror it on GBAtemp for pete's sake, you can upload images without even leaving the page by clicking your name link in the navbar in the top-right corner.

Anyhow it looks too expensive for me, maybe the office software is included in the price but for those expenses you could probably build a nicer desktop machine capable of much more.
I know it's competitively priced against the iPad, but that lovely surface type cover is an extra $120 at least.

M$ Surface Pro has me somewhat interested since it maintains x86/x64 compatibility and seems like a nice enough computer, however in the event that I'd want a tablet tablet and not a fully functional portable PC then I'd probably go with the Nexus 7 instead.

Ah, I didn't even see that was there. Uploaded and added the new picture, thanks for the tip :)

Looks like it could hurt Apple's market share.

I'm sure the lawyers are having sleepless nights looking for some flimsy infringement.
