A new Multi Cart Update is available and the front page has been updated :)

Also, just so people know, the problems some of you are having ARE NOT AP related. If it was, the exact same issue would occur on ALL carts.

So if iget it rgiht. i can use this a primary kernel on my r4i-sdhc 3ds

Read the first post by Retrogamefan (this is not just directed to you it's to everyone as 99.9% of people don't read anything they just register and post ignorant comments with their 1st post). Specifically:

"THIS KERNAL UPDATE CAN'T FIX DSi/XL/3DS FIRMWARE PROBLEMS. Go to your CARTS WEBSITE and DOWNLOAD a FIRMWARE PATCH (if available)."

That message you see appears when the card has been blocked via a system update and has nothing to do with any kernels or files placed on your MicroSD. You must download the 1.4.4/4.4.0-10 patch they have available although you will need to borrow another system on a lower system version (or any DS/DS Lite) that can boot your card.

I wonder if someone could help me at this! Sorry in advance, I'm a bit of a newbie. I have a R4i3D Revolution for DS (the website is www.ndsiLL.net). I tried to update on there but the download link is down, so I though I'd try this out instead. The card I have is green and on the back it says V1.42. I downloaded the .zip and attempted to copy the files over as standard but I just got a "An error has occured, see the Nintendo DSi operations manual for troubleshooting".

Is this card even supported or am I making things up? And if so, how do I make it work!

Sorry, as I said I'm a bit of a flop when it comes to these things. So you're saying I should set it up on a DS of a lower system version and then it will work on a DSi with a higher update?

Exactly.

Thank you very much for your help. I'll give it a try and see what happens! :)

Hi. Thank you very much for this hard work. I love TTMenu and YSMenu. Those systems let me play Pokemon Black 2 with my R4i-Gold.EU. Although I have a problem: sometimes, my game freezes at saving. No, this is not my microsd, I´ve bought a 8 GB Class 10 Kingston (very fast at benchmark). ¿Any Idea?.

Regards and thank you very much.

Anybody? All questions are solved but mine not...

Is there any missing file? I'm using latest kernel from RGF and from r4i-sdhc.com
Anyone could help? x_X

which r4 website is on your card?
Which folder of RGF's kernel are you using?
Which files are on your Micro sd card? In other words, what are the names of the folders and files at the root of your micro sd card?
All this info and more is needed to help you fix your problem, so answer well and try to give as much information as you can provide. :)

I have the same card, r4i-sdhc 3ds from www.r4i-sdhc.com, and I can't save. I'm using the latest RGF as a kernel. Why can I not save? :(
First of all, are you using dual boot or RGF's kernel as your primary (only) kernel with your r4i-sdhc.com flashcard? Also, have you tried both ways, dual-kernel, and RGF as primary kernel, to see if there's a problem with just one of the kernel methods?

Only quote me when you use the quote system on gbatemp. Look at how the structure is setup and fix it so you quote only the part that you are referring to, so you save bandwidth on this website...okay.

Moving on, did you try dual-kernel? I need you to try it, to see if you still have the problem. Check and report back... :)

I'm using latest kernel (v1.62b) from r4i-sdhc.com and took R4i-SDHC YSMenu folder fromRetroGameFan Multi Cart Update v6.89 to be copied in to the root of my Micro SD Card. Then I copied the clean Pokemon White 2 (U) ROM in to Games folder inside the R4i-SDHC YSMenu folder. Did I do something wrong? Btw, thanks for your help :)

It sounds like your files are messed up but I can't be sure because you haven't told me which folders and files are at the root of your micro sd card. If you really want to solve software problems you need to be detailed! :) But, it sounds like you have the "Games" folder inside another folder and that, for one, isn't right. The "Games" folder should be at the root of your micro sd card. Also, you need to either pick TTmenu, or YSmenu, for RGF's kernel for the r4i-sdhc.com flashcard. These are the directions from RGF:

For DUAL BOOT :
Download and extract the latest original Kernal from the r4i-sdhc.com website (1.62b) and copy it to the root of your micro SD card.

THEN:
Extract ONLY the following files and folders from the "R4i-SDHC YSMenu" folder and copy to root of your µSD :
Games folder

Please answer my question to help me solve my problem. Because i am pretty sure @EllaNoviSusanti Would encounter the same problem
Your problem is simple. You have a slow Micro SD card. Choppiness, lag and issues with saving are attributed to your Micro SD card. I suggest you buy an Adata Class 6+ Micro SD card.
