Well considering my original post was in response to that crono guy who is doing that and tried to justify it all my other post were in reference back to his post. But you 3 started debuffing my comments in turn making yourselves sound like you are on the side of these people. If your against this type of stuff dont start a debate with comments that read like what they do is understandable which is another word for justifiable

Please get a dictionary. If you didn't want a debate then you shouldn't of posted in the way you did and again, please don't make assumptions.

They both have similar meaning. Dont make assumptions? well then dont write in a way that makes it look like you agree with them. If your against them then stop attacking someone who is also against them, it makes no sense.

"Don't write in a way that makes it look like you agree with them?" YOU are the one who thought I agree with them. It's your own fault that people are attacking you.

Shafted? No we are paid a premium for being on the ball and willing to wait in line for the extra. They pay me so that they don't have to go through the trouble. Its a finders fee.

If I didn't preorder an extra, someone else would have, and then the potential buyers who look for a WiiU around christmas time will still be shafted by not being able to buy one at all. They should be grateful I'm willing to drop more money down up front, get in line for them, and then be willing to sell it to them for a small additional fee.
People like you disgust me to the greatest degree. Good luck explaining away your sins when the time comes.

How about you follow your previous comment.

How is it my fault? I was expressing how selfish it is for people to buy multiple consoles to screw others over by jacking up the price. If you dont agree with them, then my point should be something you agree with yet you felt the need to attack me even though we are technically on the same side, IT MAKES NO SENSE!!!

Because what he is doing is so much more worse than something like murder right?

If you had worded your first post a bit better instead of just swearing and sounding like an idiot we wouldn't be in this situation.

No. And if I somehow came into a discussion with a murderer who tried to justify his actions as just and noble, I would say even harsher things. (un)fortunately, that opportunity has never come up.

Oh really well I find it funny how this didnt start until I posted a few comments after my 1st and the fact no none referenced my original post. And the fact I got a few likes from that post so id say my 1st comment was valid flawless.

Nope that was just people agreeing with you, not valid flawless.

Just preordered my third Wiiu, no trouble getting one here in europe.
As long as you can pay upfront that is.
One for me and 2 gifts for the holidays.

TIP: Just don't preorder on online stores. GO OUT THERE.

Omg I wasnt speaking to anyone in particular there I references other posters that have tried to justify it

At no point has anyone justified people doing this, just pointing out the reasons why they do so.

I know I'm a bit late on this but this post says hi:

Shafted? No we are paid a premium for being on the ball and willing to wait in line for the extra. They pay me so that they don't have to go through the trouble. Its a finders fee.

He's clearly trying to justify jacking the price up(if he can find anywhere that still is selling them apparently) to whatever he sees fit(his so called "finder's fee", which he gives no insight on) as I doubt you'll find many, if any, offers for just a little above the actual price of the console itself(the ones with a 'little' extra as an autobuy; the other bidding ones are lasting a while because they know the offers will go up naturally in a situation like this). He's basically saying he's doing you a favor(good) by waiting in line, etc.

I'm not going to put a curse on him or anything for doing so, as it is a pretty smart move in general and if you have a pre-order/orders you may do whatever you want with them, it just really irks me when I see someone, who clearly is out to make the most out of it as they can and probably couldn't care less about genuinely helping someone/others out, try to act like they're doing an act of kindness.

Out of the several times I've gone through Ebay looking for such offers, I've only found one person as of now who has the starting bid at the retail price and it's ending within 24 hours, but it'll obviously be eaten up by crazy offers by then. I'd be extremely shocked if nobody tried to snag it for as low as possible, considering others are trying to sell theirs for $600-700+.

Are all of them black? If so, sounds like a lot of money.

but you've gotta hate those little groups of people that take advantage of connections they have and put their money together to buy hundreds at a time directly from Nintendo to resell them and make a dirty little profit. (They're called stores.)

EDIT :
In economics, if you pay extra, it's the price you pay for the luxury of ...
  • not having to rush to preorder before everyone else
  • not having to wait in line on launch day
  • not having to hunt for a store that just got them restocked
  • not having to wait for them to be in stock everywhere and easy to get at
It's also why something called "resale value" is a selling point for some products.
you do realize that retailers don't make much on these right? I'm willing to bet that each console sold nets them around $30 to $50 a piece.

Thus the "dirty little profit" comment. :P

Anyway, I've seen stores go above retail price before, not many but it happens.
I'm sure most of them may be under some sort of contract about the price, in which case "supply and demand" doesn't really apply because if the demand's high enough for it to sell out, the price really SHOULD be higher.

Come to think of it, the stores I've seen sell OVER recommended retail were usually stores that sell used games anyhow. They, too, very well may have gotten their consoles from Wal-Mart or somewhere similar to avoid such contracts ... Just guessing, though.

Really the only reason I preordered a Wii U deluxe in the first place was to help pay for college. This is unfortunately the kind of thing you have to resort to in the USA now...(insert political rant here that I felt like not typing out again)
