A hearthfire is a symbol of home, and the announcement trailer for Skyrim's next DLC reveals that the Dovahkiin is going all domestic on us. For those seeking action, adventure, and dragonslaying, I issue a warning: a complete lack of epicness follows.

tl;dw: Build your own house, buy land, buy furniture even hire a musician to live in your own house. You can have a kid (I'm so adopting an Orc kid as Elf) and you have to raise him (haha yeah he can play with the monsters outside).

Hearthfire will be out on the Xbox 360 on September 4 for 400 Microsoft points. PC/PS3 versions will likely be released a good month later, similar to the Dawnguard DLC.

wow that looks awful the voice in the trailer didn't even try to make it sound slightly enjoyable.

Well to the haters, I completely understand your opinion. But I can imagine this being very fun for the thousands of (hardcore) gamers that really want to live in this world, that want to feel the vibes of Skyrim and easily spend 1000 hours in this game. This is for them, roleplaying².

People have been asking for this since fable 2 got released. So after years of complaints, they decided to add it.

Hmmm each dlc is going to be really big, just got thrown out the window.

Better be cheaper than Dawnguard.
This should have been an extra to a proper quest expansion. Hell make it an update to Dawnguard!

if there would be a mother and a father role both in one household....
but i guess the musician would be fine.

Kids, this is how in the 4E 201 I became a Dragonborn.

I was hanging with uncle Barney in Whiteguard, when they made me a Thane and assigned me Lydia.

And that's how I met your mother.

This is a late April Fools joke from Bethesda, right? Right???

On an unrelated note...If you ever want to keep even a shred of faith in humanity...never read Youtube comments.
i was interested what those comments are and i head over. i was about to comment something stupid, just to spam.

then YT asked me if i was gonna use my full name. almost...

fianlly I can take children from the city to my seculuded house in the forest and the guards cant do anything about it :creep:
