The trailer for the "long anticipated" remake of 1980's cult classic has just been released, with the Chinese North Korean army taking the place of the "Russkies".



Basically, it's Homefront with sexy American teens (and Thor, God of Thunder) leading the fight. At least it shouldn't be boring.

I know, but after the USSR fell, they just lost the spark. China's too important of a frenemy for Hollywood to dare demonize, so we get North Korea as the stand in.

I would've preferred an awkward teenage drama featuring Jonah Hill and Michael Cera trying to deal with their awkwardness and girls while fighting Russians but I guess this will do.
