Ummm Ehhhh....

Idk what handheld to buy,

3DS XL or Vita.

Right now i am really interested in Mario Kart for the 3DS.
That game is pure fun and with the Online mode its even better.

And on the other hand i am a huge fan of Vocaloids and Project Diva F comes in 1 month but i could not import it :/ (I could if i found someone who could import for me)

There arent any games that i would like to play on the consoles(maybe KH3D on 3DS and Persona 4 on Vita !!! Again i need to import it from USA !!! )

And now about the price.

I could get a 3DS XL+Charger+Mario Kart 7+Flashcard for 250 Euro.
Or a Vita with 16 GB Card and a game(i would choose Disgaea 3 probably) for 350 Euro what i think its too much for a Handheld :/

Whats smarter to do??

And the genres of games that i love to play are RPG,Action RPG,Rhythm,Kart Racing games and Platformers.

3DS XL simply because it's cheaper and has a larger game library (and larger upcoming game library).

If you think you're paying too much for the Vita then wait for a deal. Right now where I am Gamestop is doing a deal where you buy a Vita and get a 4GB memory card and free game.
Go for the system with the games you're interested in, and from what I see it's the XL. (Mario Kart 7, KH3D, and a flashcard)
But are you sure the XL will be able to play a flashcard out of the box?

My soul cries right now :'(

3DS=no Project Diva(But there is Project Mirai.......but 3DS is region locked :'( )
Vita=no Mario games :'(

Ohh and about 3DS,i am a fan of Rune Factory.
I love that game so much.
Thats 1 more reason to buy a 3DS

Some of the games the 3DS offers.

I'm pretty sure you'll get more RPGs/ARPGs on the Vita and more of the other genres you listed on the 3DS.

As of now, I like the current/upcoming releases for the 3DS way better than those for the Vita, but that may change over time.

Putting all bias aside, you're asking in the wrong place. This is a primarily Nintendo forum, and you will find primarily Nintendo answers, regardless of which is actually a "better" buy.

I'd just close this thread right now and go to another site to choose. GBAtemp is horrifically biased, in fact asking for their opinion on any major purchase is a horrible decision. You might as well flip a coin over it.

I'd say the Vita myself but everyone here is going to say "3DS BECAUSE IT HAS KID ICARUS AND KINGDOM HEARTS!!!!"

Here we go. Vita wasn't suggested so everyone is biased.

I suggested the 3DS because it isn't a dying handheld and actually has third-party support. Buying the Vita at this point in time is a bad decision (unless you also plan on playing PSP games but then you might as well get a PSP).

Thanks for twisting my words. I appreciate it. :)

Mostly directed at Guild but to say he's asking in the wrong place when there hasn't actually been any bad unfounded suggestions is silly.

Look, at this point, I wouldn't suggest either, but that's besides the point.

But if you can tell me that there isn't a serious bias towards Nintendo on this site, I don't think you're very observant. But that's okay. I would say the same thing if this site was called iPhonetemp, and someone asked if they should buy an AppleTV or a Boxee.

A bias towards a company or product isn't that bad if the site is themed around it. It's when someone is asking for an objective opinion of one product against another that this site is heavily affiliated with, that it becomes a problem.

What emigre said, wait and see what games come for each, then buy the one that has content you would enjoy the most, then get the other at a later date if you feel like it.
If you absolutely need one now, then I would say 3DS first based on pure pricing and nothing else, then get a Vita when the price goes down a bit. If you don't have problems with price, then I guess you could go for the Vita first, its up to how much you can afford and preferences and stuff.

The blue genres will probably be more common on PSV and the red on 3DS. Based on that I'd say 3DS as it covers a wider range of genres (both PSV ones are RPG), also at the moment the 3DS is cheaper. Not to mention it also has KH for an action-RPG (though personally I never liked the games).
