I have a friend still using r415 of WiiFlow - not WiiFlow-mod He added a new game manually by copying the iso image but WiiFlow isn't picking it up. Anyone remember that far back how to force rebuild the cache?
I think you could just delete the right file in the /wiiflow/cache/lists/ folder ... or all of them for that matter ... or just get him to upgrade :D
deleting the lists folder should work as Maxternal mentioned... if your wii is online, downloading titles (gametdb) should force a cache refresh as well....

Thanks for all the good work! I've been having an issue with launching GC games for a number of releases now. I finally just thought I'd post since I think it probably has to do with a "dirty" installation. I am getting the black screen when I try to launch GC games. It then reloads the system menu. Any suggestions? I deleted the wiiflow.ini file.
Are you sure you have either DM, DML, or Devolution installed?

Yes I have DM 2.2 ... The GC games load fine with the latest cfgloader mod and usbloader_gx ... The crash happens immediately almost before it attempts to invoke DM.

I will try a clean install. i.e. deleting everything related to wiiflow except the 3 files: boot.dol, meta.xml and icon.png... and I'll report back what happens.

EDIT: Ya that seemed to resolve the issue. Needed to delete the usb://wiiflow directory along with usb://apps/wiiflow.ini

Not sure if this is the same issue others were reporting, and I'm not really sure I want to go back through 560 or so pages to find out; But with r604 I do have an issue with a black screen appearing. It only occurs if I try to play a game immediately after I have dumped it to my flash drive. Pressing reset then going back into wiiflow and starting the game again after it occurs or dumping the game, then quitting & restarting wiiflow then starting the game does not result in a black screen.

What are your video settings and are you running an NTSC or PAL game? I've had best luck with the video setting as 'System'. Only a handful of games require the 'Game' setting.

i need help with wiiflow and the way it handles the gecko codes

+ i need a way to enable wiiflow to read .GCT files with 8000 line of codes, it is limited to 256 line of codes, this has been fixed in usb loader gx some say it has no limits to what size the .gct file is, but i could not make it work.

+ please anyone know a way around this? i am asking to use smash brawl project M or just keep updating my Custom Smash brawl game which now needs 3000+ line of codes to run.
also anyone know the possibility of making smash brawl read data from SDHC, currently the game only reads from none SDHC and only up to 2GB sd cards, can this be patched or fixed in some way? i use a 32gb sd to load my emulators and i dont want to keep my SSBB+ in a separate card (read that Riivolution bypasses the 2gb ssbb issue...)

What's the naming convention for mult-disc gamecube games? I can't get them to show up in WiiFlow. I've tried renaming disc 1 to game.iso and disc 2 to disc2.iso without any luck. Do they even work with Devolution?

In which folder should I put wiidb.zip!?
Edit:
If i add movie info to wiitdb.zip (MovieName= blabla movie info..), wiiflow shows the Movie information!?

Thanks

Wiiflow havent got a 2 disc detection (yet).
Ah, I see. Is that the reason the games don't show up if there is more than one ISO in the folder? It might be a good idea to follow the convention of looking for game.iso, disc0.iso, disc1.iso... discn.iso, if you're looking for ideas, that is. An option to switch discs could be incorporated into the game menu, with the last loaded disc being the default.

My movie collection is *.BUP/*.VOB format. The problem is every film is in its own folder
moviesp.png

I'm looking for "mplayer-loader source" to adjust it for my personal use.
Can anyone help!?

"You can add an entry to the menu with an action such as: loadfile 'dvdnav:///ntfs:/path/to/VIDEO_TS'"

http://code.google.c...s/detail?id=788

not sure if that helps... looks like that would be pointing at one specific movie? i dunno... *shrugs*
No chance :(
Thanks ;)

For the people they have DVD movies
You can merge files via the command line using the following command:
Copy /B {VTS_01_1.VOB}+{VTS_01_2.VOB}+{etc..} {output (Movie Name.vob)}

(Without loss of quality/menu)

Hello all. I've been trying to figure something out for a while now that maybe someone can help me with. I currently have my Wii Games on USB2 on a NTFS partition and my Gamecube Games are on USB1 on a FAT32 partition. Whenever I load WiiFlow and try to bring up my GameCube games, I always have to change the setting to USB1. The Wii games always come up no problem. I've tried changing the Partition value to 1 under wiiflow.ini, but no joy.

Also, I want to keep the wiiflow.ini file on my USB drive. Is there a prefered spot for it? I ask because I've seen it get created in different places, sometimes on the SD card under the APPS folder, while other times it is created under the Willflow folder on the root.

Thanks in advance!

Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out. I created an APPS:folder on the USB1 folder and it automatically created a wiiflow.ini file with an entry under DML to specify the partition. I'm good now.

I'm using r601, so maybe this has been fixed, but with DIOS-MIOS 2.2 I always get apploader size 0 error. Has this been fixed since R601?

Also, just out of curiousity, why doesn't the in app update function work anymore?

Since a few updates, I can´t start any gamecube-game.
I tried rev603, 604 and 605. Using dios-mios lite. Now when I start a gamecube game, the loader freezes on the gamecube-screen, were the apploader wants to load. In rev.59X, everything worked fine :(

Hi!

I got a black screen at the loading screen for the multiplayer of COD blackops with rev 601, 590, 522. Only rev 506 works fine for me.

Thanks

NTSC games and all settings are at their default choices. The only setting I ever changed was the location of the games from SD to USB1
