Hardware Reselling the Wii U at launch date

wii u doesnt have games? ,for hardcore gamers , only zombiU , dont get your hopes up for more new FPS for wii U , not NEW but the oldie COD and others , also , the core and the amaziness of nintendo comes from zelda/mario/pokemon games , which is better than any 3rd party shit games

Nintendo-only gamers sadden me. While Nintendo games are typically fucking stellar, missing out on third-party games this generation is a foolish decision.

Sticking with Zelda/Mario/Pokemon this entire gen would leave you missing Deus Ex: HR, Portal 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum/City, Just Cause 2, Sonic Generations, Mass Effect 1/2/3, Borderlands, Skyrim and more. All great games that someone actually interested in videogames wouldn't want to miss.

i didnt played any of those , i dont am looking forward to play them, and i´m dont sticking with any game, i´m just saiyng that those games are better than the others

Yeah, some people are not stupid to buy something that costs more (150-200) than the normal price, but if you sell to stupids .......

One big plus is that even if the they don't have fabrication problems like the PS2, it's still the ONLY console being released this holiday season and at least on par with other consoles available as far as processing power so I don't see it being TOO big of a risk. Worst case scenario, just make sure you can get ALL your money back or be able/willing to wait to sell them EVENTUALLY at suggested retail price (before they decide to drop the retail price on you).

I wouldn't do it cause your basically cheating people in a sense...

"Cheating" people who are willing to pay more to get it now unstead of wait in line at release date or wait until they're back in stock. It's supply and demand, basic economics.

Think of the bigger picture here. Suppose everyone would do it (well...attempt to, that is). Result: sold out wii U's. Consequences: A. nintendo produces more of 'em (duh!). B. game companies will take note of said sales and start projects for better games (read: not ports).
So in a way, I would be glad if the store was sold out. If nothing else, it's a sign of good economy.

I have my doubts if stores are simply going to allow you to return a whole bunch of 'em, but that's their problem. Or yours, if they decide it's against store policy*.


Still... I doubt it'll go that far. Unless the wiiU is really underpriced, it's not going to be sold out. 3DS'es didn't. In fact, the 3DS dropped 80 bucks after half a year. That obviously won't happen again...but I think there'll be more people waiting for a price drop than that there will be people willing to pay extra for direct access.




*not sure how things are regulated in other countries, but over here you can't just demand a full refund. If it's within a couple of days, you have the receipt and it's unopened, then you're entitled to coupons to be used in the store. But real money on multiple consoles? I seriously doubt it.

Maybe you don't like the games listed but I can assure you that you are missing out on some great games. Then again you can probably go PC since you probably aren't that interested in western RPGs (not caring about Skyrim and Mass Effect) and shooters in general.
Your probably only be missing out on playing the following games and some more since they are probably in the genre you enjoy. They are console exclusives 3D Dot Game Heroes, Fez, Journey, Banjo-Kazooie, 'Splosion Man and Kameo which one can argue aren't worth buying a console for.

Then again maybe you can only afford one console so going with Nintendo has just been the most logical choice for you. Regardless a decent PC should be able to play the platformers and Zeldaish games you will miss.

Unless you went to different places but I really doubt you'll go to 5 different places to get Wii Us.
This is kind of stupid though I don't think the demand for Wii U's will be that much at launch as it was for the Wii/360.
