Pokémon Dream Radar does NOTHING with the Black 2/White 2 games except modifying its savegame. There is no access to the game itself.

How about a save data exploit? No I'm being serious here...so apparently this dream radar is only compatible with the actual game. So what If we use the save data DS Dongle to transfer a "Corrupted" and "modified" save file. This way when the dream radar reads the save data from the cart it will lock up and possible allow access the 3D?

Nah, it won't lock up, as all it does is writing to a certain area of the savegame after checking if one value is set to 01 or 00 (indicates if previous data has or has not been obtained yet).
It does not read any modifyable strings.

For your information, I own a Japanese 3DS, meaning that I already have this App.

Same here Yami

flashcard are incompatible with the App as the havfe to run in DSi mode to link the 2

the official cart connects to the app in DSi mode
and then it just adds pokemon to the save

if you up a modded sav to the official cart the .sav is said to be corrupted and deleted

I think that Dream Radar is the real Anti Piracy protection for Black 2 and White 2, as there's no workaround for this, even though it's not required for the game's story.
But I've done Dream Radar already, transferred my Pokémon to the real Cartridges (I have both, Black 2 and White 2 as Retail), it's pretty easy to do that.
The hardest part is, getting a decent Pokémon on Dream Radar, which is not an Item.

As far as I know, Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 transfer data from Dream Radar, not Dream Radar to Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, because the transfer process is made while playing the game and because you don't need to have the game cart inserted while playing the 3DSWare game. My theory is that Dream Radar saves its data to a file in the SD card, like any app that uses external data or saves. When played on a 3DS, Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 are booted in DSi mode, which allows access to WPA security, cameras and SD slot. Even if it can access the SD card in DSi mode, any data on an SD card can be read, so it can find the Dream Radar data and read/write it. It's the only way that makes sense to me from all the information I know.

Well actually, you can indeed play without a Cartridge inserted, as Transferring is another option in Dream Radar.
Start Black 2 or White 2 on the same 3DS, go to Isshu Link (Unova Link), and select "Nintendo 3DS Link".

This video should be self explaining:

That video made me more curious of how the guy was able to record 3DS stuff and putting it online... :P Interesting either way... :P

what if this is a plot for them to try and get hackers to BUY dream radar to test out this theory?

@[member='Kuroko Shirai'], my point is, that Dream Radar doesn't use all 3DS features.
In this case, it doesn't use 3D, and probably StreetPass and/or SpotPass as well, but that's something I couldn't test yet.
Dream Radar doesn't use 3D for the simple reason being Nintendo learned from their mistake with FaceRaiders and SFX643D that Gyro+3D= A Bad Time.
