i have got my wii softmodded to 4.1u and for some reason all the games i put on my external hard drive(my passport 250GB) are in black and white and kind of fuzzy...i don't know if i have done something wrong or what...i used WiiBackUpManager to put them on there...PLEASE HELP!!!
Which usb loader do you use?
It's CfgLoaderConfigurator...from Modmii
OK, try using WiiFlow or USB Loader GX with the same games.

Actually, that sounds like you're using a PAL game on an NTSC TV (Mostly North and South America) or an NTSC game on a PAL TV (Mostly Europe).
A lot of loaders have the a way to force the video mode. Try messing with the video settings to force NTSC. That might also help.

Is there any other way to get around this issue or do i have to only use NTSC games?

In your loader program (CFG in your case) there should be options for video mode. There should be something to force NTSC. I don't use CFG myself but if you can't find the specific option and wanted to ask how to force NTSC over at the main thread for CFG, here : http://gbatemp.net/topic/147638-configurable-usb-loader, I'm sure they'd know best.

I installed wiiflow to use as a loader instead of usb loader and everythign was working fine was playing games then today wiiflow wont load anymore...any ideas?

thanks pal, actually the problem was when i formatted my hdd in preperation for a nand emu i partitioned my hdd into 2 seperate sections but when i put my wii games back on the hdd i didnt put them back in a wbfs folder, just put them at the root of the hdd which was making them not show up...i just made a new folder and now games work fine.

on a related note, does the newest version of usb loader gx support nand emu wiiware/vc all that and what would be the easiest way to set that up. i already have a a fat32 partition on my hdd with 100gb set aside for this but not havbing any luck

This question isn't directly related to hacking, and I've asked it in the emulator section to no avail. Do any of the nes/snes/n64/genesis/etc emulators have builds out there that support the new wii remote plus that came out around last christmas? It was incompatible for the longest time until devkitpro was updated in april, I think. If so, can anyone point me in the direction for download, or PM me instructions on building the emulators from source with the new devkitpro update?

You can always check Wiibrew for emulator updates...

So I have looked nearly everywhere and this seems like the best place to post this so here goes...

I understand Dios Mios has recently been released and I was really excited for it but I have had little success finding a guide actually showing and/or telling me what it is I have to do. From what I can recall I and running 4.3U Wii-wise and the real kicker: I am a Mac user. If anyone can give me a noob tutorial on crediar's creation you will receive much gratitude.

What would be the best choice for someone to update their Wii when theyre still on Wiikey2 today? i bought my wii prehardmodded and its still on 3.4e firmware, i remember reading alot of tutorials around here and ended up buying a sd card with 2gb, which i still havent used due to the tutorials in the end scaring me with their long procedures and the chance of bricking it.

Now the Wii & top games are insanely cheap so i dont fear a brick anymore, so i kinda want to update it. Last i tried i couldnt get disc versions of Galaxy2/NSMB/Mickey/DKC:R to boot. From what ive been reading around it seems like Modmii is the best way to go or is there better alternatives i still want to be able to use my wiikey2 discs

ModMii.

Hello I would like some help.
I downloaded and installed the new dios mio lite today and the install went fine.
I have tried two games so far Super Robot Taisen-J which didn't work (Although I've never been able to get it to work anyway)
and Sonic Adventure 2 -Pal which works fine but the gamecube controller stops responding as soon as it loads making it unplayable.

Can anyone help me with this?
