It would be a good idea to use a different browser. This translation team, for the most part, resides at that website.

How long will the translation take?
I'm not posting as a "y u no translate faster?" question, more out of curiosity.

They said 6 PM PST there will be a new patch. But I hope they will release another version in between to add the v2 APP and update the translated text at the same time. Like a version 1.5.

No way can they be anywhere near done with the dialogue translation?

Nope, As progress stands at the moment:

English Translation Progress (current patch is v1.1):

• Items: 98%
• Pokémon: 100%
• Abilities: 100%
• Trainers: 100%
• Moves: 100%
• Options: maybe 10% ?
• Character dialogue: 0%
• Graphics: 0%

At this moment they are a tad further with it doing the intro translation. And Settings near done.

Hi, I see they labelled attacks names as 100% translated. The thing is in actual battles, you have a bunch of japanese sentences for ennemies' pokemons as well as yours, so there is no way to know what attack is used (especially to know what attacks are used by the enemy for exemple)

I hope the in battle text will be translated as well

Hi everyone Well Here's a quick suggestion that I thought of last night. If you're familiar using NitroExplorer2b, just keep a 2nd clean rom for your translation patches then extract the narc from it then use NitroExplorer2b on your 2ch v2 Patched Pokemon Black/White 2 (assuming you have the translation file for respected game.) and reinsert the a/0/0/2 and/or a/0/0/3

hope this helps until they decide to use V2 in their translations.

How to extract the .narc files?

In case you still need to know this, the .narc files are inside the rom. Open the rom in Nitroexplorer 2b thingy and look for the "a" folder. It should all be there. Find the narc file ur looking for? Check it! Somewhere in the top of the UI of Nitro, there is a button called extract. Choose a destination folder and voila! You're done! Need more help on technical aspsects? (like images, i know a fair bit about editing images) Pm me.

Okay I figure out why chrome won't let me onto that site. You guys, if you're using chrome, make sure to have the adblock, and pop-up blocker extension because there is some malicous ads on that site, and yes I know TC is not at fault, its just the ads, so for anyone else that didn't realize it, please be cautious.

That's (I think) impossible to DIRECTLY extract em from a .patch file. Just patch a Rom with it and get it from there then.

Old patch (v1.1) at 6 PM PST they release a new one V1.2 presumably. (Which is "only" 8 hours away =d)

I still hope they release it earlier =(

I used the patch and I still get a black screen every so often using supercard dstwo and playing pokemon black 2

seems to work (launches at least) with cheats and soft rest off

Alright, works 100% if you hex edit the translation patched rom afterwards, use the first post of the AP thread, open the rom (after having applied the english translation 1.1) and go to offset 4620 and have fun edit all that shit

After that no more pokemon status black screens and random freezes. YATA !

Off to play the damn game now

hey uhmmm was just looking at the screenshots after i patched my game .. and the main menu screen isn't in english (where it says continue, new game, wifi settings, ect)
is this a personal thing? or do any other people have this currently untranslated? love the job you guys are doing btw keep it up ^_______^

Not yet translated as of 1.1, tonight this will be updated.

This worked wonders! I can now access my status screen and the rom is translated with the Pokestation translation patch aswell! Thanks for this!
