To get past naming/juniper's intro, do that on desmume, then play on your cart.
People might know this as a "bypass method".

As for translation patch issues,
If you followed my steps and still cannot,
Then I really don't know what's wrong,
Cause it never happened to me before.
(edit: I meant to say I don't know how the program might have glitched up or stuff like that, I ain't a programmer actually)

I can confirm that the exp+translation patches work on the r4i gold 3ds. Running 1.49 Wood

Disable soft reset and cheats
STILL HAS FREEZES SUCH AS SUMMARY FREEZE.

Hey, how do you turn off the soft reset? I just bought my r4i gold so I'm not sure how it works. Please help me!

Hit start and on the top hit the right arrow and you should be able to find cheats and soft reset

i see cheat in game, reset in game, reset in homebrew. are these the ones? if they are, i already turned them off but i'm still getting a red loading screen.

on acekard 2i i get black screen about a minuite after the game begins.Can someone help?

all right after the rival battle and pokemon center introduction, when i exit the pkmncenter i got a black screen .on dstwo
EDIT: when i reset and tried again i did go through.looks like those are random black screens that needs to be patched right.

Yeah I've tried to patch my White 2 ROM about 5 times and I still can't gain EXP. A pre-patched ROM would be a godsend.

The game looks good on 3DS unlike BW1. Looking forward to the NA retail release to take advantage of the 3DS functions.
