i found some more bugs:
- 2 typos due to the find-and-replace: the last trainer on route 26 before victory road says 'Absolutely' (or sth like that) and a guy in petwers museum says 'soMewthere'
- the stone plate in pewter city can be picked up several times
- the Master of the Dragon User Clan in dragon's den tells about Lugia in SG
- if your first pokémon is beaten and the pokémon following you 'senses something' at the meteors on route 3, the text still mentions the first pokemon in your team

I have a feeling he speaks about Lugia in both versions, but I'll note the other three down.

some other bugs:
- the "Lick" attack sometimes not cause damage.
- the wild sturdy pokemons can't use his/her ability
- It's Sunday, but the women, who check the pokemons on the Goldenrod City's Mart (F5) not arrive

and:
[a man on the 4th floor of the Goldenrod Mart talk about only-trade-evolving pokemons... it's irrelevant in this hack, u can rescript his dialog, if you want]

Lick doesn't cause damage? I haven't edited that at all, so that's... odd.
Sturdy only affects OHKO moves in fourth gen, there's no Focus Sash effect if that's what you mean. That wasn't introduced until Gen V.
The woman does appear, but I moved her to the cushions below the escalators.

When I open my Sacred Gold ROM in DeSuME it doesn't load the game (screen just stays white.)
I can still load up save states and it works fine that way, though. It just worries me because if I get bugged and I have to save on the actual ROM then there is no way I could keep playing. Anybody know how to fix this white screen thing? Wasn't happening to me before either until today.

i need some help, i'm about to get the third badge (i also have a life and other games...), but, i want to know your opinion, when i get to mahogany town i'll be getting the riolu egg, but, at that point i'll have: feraligatr, charizard, sceptile, espeon, luxray and salamance/shelgon (probably), but i don't know if i get to that team, wich one of them should i replace for riolu and get lucario?, oh, and it might be possible for lucario to learn zen headbutt for next version?, since lucario can have crunch if it learns it while it is riolu, or force palm, then aura sphere, and blaze kick, also having problems at deciding a good move set for lucario when i get him..
EDIT: do riolu still evolves by happiness?, if so, any trick for quick friendship gaining?, i actually know about friendship gain, but not a quick method....

Yes, it still evolve by friendship.
Give it a haircut, Let it carry Soothe Bell, Some certain berries and state boost vitamins ( Carbos, Iron, etc ) can help with friendship level. And let it battle a lot too

i tried this rom and it's great. but when i play it on my no$gba with no$zoomer it keeps crashing on me or giving me graphical errors. and when i tried it on DESMUME the rom ran at a snails pace once i started playing.

are there any kind of special settings needed for DESMUME? cause i just downloaded it and started it up and the rom was running in slowmotion.

i also noticed in Violet City that the ingame trade that was supposed to be there. a bellsprout for an onyx has been changed to a gligar for a rhyhorn.

are there any other trades that have been changed like that?

Personally, I would drop Feraligatr off. I tried using it this run but ended up dropping it because it's just a worse gyarados, and it doesn't get any physical STAB until you find waterfall in the ice path. That said, you probably need a water type for surf and stuff, so that might not be an option. If that's the case, then I would drop Luxray, because Sceptile already hits waters, half your team can learn crunch, and you can hit most flying types on their secondary type. As for quick happiness gain, cramming a bunch of vitamins down its throat should do the trick.

Anyway, my team so far is pretty sweet. I've noticed that in most gym fights I'm a bit underleveled, but it hasn't mattered much because lolrain.

thanks, and good team you have, but for seadra, gyarados and politoed a good electric type pokemon/move can defeat them, for ludicolo it's dangers would be flying and electric types if it is a good one, for armaldo and nidoking just a decent water move from a water type is more than enough to bring them down (i'm not sure about this one on armaldo since i forgot it's types...), since your team is almost made from water pokemon, i think you should try other types of pokemon, but, it's up to you, as same you said that i should replace feraligatr...i might replace it by empoleon at future...

Holy shit my body was not ready for what happened after I beat archer in goldenrod
that was fucking crazy
I barely got by on my last pokemon with like 13 hp

also all my pokemon were between levels 44 and 46 so I was pretty underleveled

im having a couple bug issues

the first one happened twice
upon entering violet city and doing the quiz for charmander then checking its stats i go back and the sprites are gone and the top screen goes black
the same thing happened after i beat the first trainer in pryces gym

the second one came at the rocket hideout in mahogany after having to start the hideout all over again i used the walk through walls code to get to the part at the electrodes however when i interacted with them my rom froze. then when i decided to leave it alone and go look for pokemon the game froze again anytime i would be about to encounter a pokemon

any ideas/tips

Also, who gives you Rotom? I have the 8th gym badge, and I still haven't received it from anyone.

You have to interact with the tv in your house to get rotom

(Also, Oak's dialogue needs changing to account for the fact that Cynthia's Eevee can be in your lead spot. Right now, he says the same thing as in HG/SS, which specifically refers to your starter.)

Cheat Editor doesn't work on 64-bit systems AFAIK.

im currently on v 1.04, if i download 1.05 will i still be able to play my save states or will i have to do something with the save states?

When I switched to 1.05, I had to do a real save in-game because my save states wouldn't play properly after the upgrade. However, saving and loading the file in-game worked properly, and I was then able to carry on saving my progress via save states afterwards.

Ok so i have to save in game in V 1.04 then switch to 1.05 and the save file will still appear, then i can use save states again? Correct? i want to be 100% sure!
