the projects works, but was never released and will never be released for the reasons outlined in the following post

http://gbatemp.net/t226430-would-it-be-pos...t&p=2826880

there are probably 3-5 ppl in the world that have working copy of this app, and AFAIK none of us have any intention of sharing it (or even using it).

Those who have the app have been responsible enough not to share it with anyone else for 2.5 years now, I doubt anything you say will change our minds. TBH, it's one of those apps that sit on my sd card and NEVER get used.

I wouldn't have any use for it, as I haven't got the internet at home at all.

Anyway... most of the vc/wiiware/virtual arcade games are available to download on-line, that's if you know where to find them (just use google).

I'll tell you all this, if you know where to look then you can get your hands on it. I will also tell you this, that if you do try to get your hands on it, Xflak will probably break your hands before you are able to copy the contents off his SD card. :P

Anyway...
Not cool man, you should really know to not tell people how to pirate.
Thats not really telling people how to pirate. It's not leading to any exact sites. Telling people to use google is not bad. But what is bad is anyone who does not know how to use google.

So this app that will not be released was a huge database of wiiware/vc title key's and ticket installer, or it tricked Nintendo into sending a valid ticket? That would take alot of effort to get a database of all the title key's, they all look different to me. I feel like I was living under a rock, how did I miss this thread.

it grabs the content from NUS, but each game requires a ticket from an already installed game added to a database file before it can be supported

there's a similar underground pc-side app (kind of like nus downloader) written by Leathl that uses the same kind of DB file

NUS Downloader keeps giving me debug errors anyway (even though I have Net. Framework 4.0 installed). That's why I've opted to use ModMii to download anything that I need in order to keep my console up-to-date.

As for my previous post, there's no harm in saying to people to use google to look for dumped games from the wii shopping channel. I personally do know a site or a way to get them easily, but... I'm not telling anyone, let alone posting it here. ;)

Then shouldn't ModMii not work since ModMii uses NUS Downloader?

@Anon10W1z & @[member='XFlak']: Guy's... I was on about the GUI version, not the one used by ModMii. -_-

As ModMii works perfectly for me, even without a internet connection.

Same thing man. Command line version works just like the GUI, but the GUI was created first, AFAIK.

EDIT: What I bolded....how the heck is that possible???
EDIT2: Now I understand. Thanks @DeadlyFoez!
