hm. the two things that bugged me the most about HG were that they sanitized the old creeper guy outside Erika's gym, and that the magnet train was utterly useless since you could fly to E4 and fly again to the other region. Haven't played far enough to know if you did anything about these things... but if you haven't... i guess this is a feature request? i was thinking perhaps on the magnet train you could choose to fight the train's driver from the other end. They could be named ... Magnet Payne and Magnet Brain or something amusing like that. ...adding an area to the game would be a pita, but i think it would be lulsy.

You do know it only chases away lower leveled Pokemon right? If the level is above your lead Pokemon then repels won't work..that's not a bug that's been in the game since Gen 1

Question: Was the graphic glitch that freezes your game if you go into a different room fixed in one of the updates?

So, just to clarify, in order to update to a new version without having to start over, I have to patch a clean rom with the new patch, then replace the old rom with the new rom, and the .sav files will work with the new rom so long as the new rom has the same name as the old rom?

Correct although before you patch it is always smart to save a .sav file and the old patched rom in a different folder just incase something goes wrong. But yeah, that is how it goes.

@[member='dray']: It's not stated in the Documents, but what level is Arceus fought at? If it's at level 100, then since this is Gen IV, it will be impossible to give it optimal EVs since it can't gain any experience. If it's not, then just ignore this post.

I'm about to face Falkner now and I just want to say that the game is awesome so far. I haven't had any crashes on no$gba 2.6a yet. No graphical bugs too. I'm luffin' it and just going to continue. Thanks so much for this hack

Dray its not double battles its just that i had to restart the game because i got that graphic glitch and didnt know how to fix it at the time.. It was every time i leveled up a cyndaquil from 5 to 6 at the start of the game it just freezed... havent tried today yet though. Do i have to have no$gba and no$gba zoomer in the same folder? nothing came up and said no gba zoomer for me....

Did you encrypt the hack?

Also, I have a recommendation for a moveset change: Make gastly learn hypnosis later, maybe around 13. The reason for this is that currently impossible to catch a gastly that knows it at Sprout Tower. Considering that hypnosis was really the only reason to even bother using a gastly in the early game, it really needs to be available shortly after you catch it. Either that or have the gastly in that area be low enough level to where it still has it.

I pick up the patch and the rom and I click 'apply patch' (there's not much room for error is there?) and... absolutely nothing happens. no new rom gets created, no rom gets patched, just emptiness. I have checked the CRC and I know my rom is clean. I even got it from the site Dray recommended on the readme file. What is going on?
